35 players have now finished their round, which means they can continue the tournament Tuesday if they have a weather stoppage today.  If play had been stopped before half the players finished, they would have ignored today's play, and awarded prizes based on the 54-hole standings.

Man, Keegan is poised to seemingly come out of nowhere to win this.

And apparently using junior clubs...pretty remarkable.

Of course is Rory had a halfway decent putting day he'd have put this to bed by now.

Overall damn pleased with Tiger. 6 months ago I’m not sure I would’ve put Tiger in the Tour Chamionship based on play....I think it’s awesome. It’s probably also why the Tiger Naysayers have been so quiet.

With Keegan in trouble, Rose is in the driver seat now.

Wow, totally missed how Rose bogeyed 18 from the fairway.

And congratz to Keegan Bradley.  Always kind of liked him even if his pre-shot routine is a bit quirky.

He’s always annoyed me. But after he made an ass of himself with the Jiminez deal I lost any interest in him. But he needed a win, been dry ever since riding the Ryder Cup coat tails.

Same here. He's not just hanging in there and making cuts, he's challenging a very strong field almost every week.

And he's doing it with a mediocre round pretty much every week...like he's giving the field a round where they don't have to worry about him

Interested to see what Tiger's strokes gained stats are for the week.

Was able to watch this on in Singapore - slept/watch from 10pm to 3am last night.  What a fun tourny to watch.

1 - Tiger impresses still.  he's so close

2 - It was Rory's to win.....or lose.  C'mon Rors

3 - I'm ok with Keegan, he's a lot less twitchy.  Hard to see that crouched over swing though.  Good for him - it's been a long time.  Great to see the family moments too

4 - Justin Rose - he's earned #1.  Too bad it wasn't with a win though.  He does have a 'game face'.  cool

5 - way to play and show up, Billy!

Are the strokes gained stats out?

Yes, go here: https://www.pgatour.com/players/player.08793.tiger-woods.html/scorecards/r028

You can see them pretty much in real time during a tournament. Just go to the official PGA Tour leaderboard, e.g. https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2018/bmw-championship/leaderboard.html

and click on a player's name in the standings.  You'll see the expanded scorecard with shot tracker, etc.  From there, click on "Full Scorecard" and scroll down past the scorecards to see the strokes gained stats for that event.

    • Good advice. In general, you want to take whatever weight you are lifting to a couple of reps before failure, for muscle growth. There are other tactics for PT related stuff. I would trust your PT person.  For muscle growth, you can go like 30 reps to failure. It is tougher to gauge. Also, it takes 2x as long to do the same number of working sets per week if you are doing 15 instead. It is way less efficient, but your case is special because of the injury/aggravation to the hip.
    • Several years ago I got paired with a twosome of golfers, one of which had a maybe 5-year-old son with him. The kid had a putter and a 7i with him, and on some holes he would drop a ball near the green, chip on, and putt. If the kid started to get distracted, the dad would ask, "Do you need to rest?" The kid would nod yes, and then take his dad's seat riding in the cart for a couple of holes. It was a slow day, and the kid was polite and friendly. We got through 18 just fine. (If it had been a crowded course day, I'm sure it would have been less pleasant.)
    • Caution for the seniors on weight training: Listen to your body. (I'm 75) I got a recent session with an orthopedist after a training-related injury. I put too much weight on a new resistance machine at the gym and ended up with bursitis in my left hip. Of course, it's the hip I dislocated back in 2023. I have my first physical therapy session tomorrow. I remarked that some days I can do 45 lbs. chest press - two sets - without much effort. But other days it drops down to 30 (😩) with just one set. (Complicating factor: I had digestive problems in this fall and lost about 20 lbs., with slip in muscle tone.) Orthopedist said that I want to feel some resistence, but that I should go with lots of reps with manageable weights rather than trying to set some sort of lift-pound record. I'm sure I'll get some refinements on lifting during tomorrow's PT.
