And here it goes ...everybody making those 7’-10’ except Tiger. He needs to  start making those every one else is climbing up the board.

Another meh round so far by Tiger. It started so well, then he fell into par-mode again. He's driving it really well, but not making putts and not hitting them close enough often enough.

Other guys on the board are making the same putts he is missing. Like Rose's birdie at the 8th. Tiger's iron shot was in the same spot. His putter is ice cold.

Well there's a birdie for Tiger. The announcers are sickening with their immediate slurping. I get it. He brings in fans and boosts ratings, but I can't listen to Jacobson go on about him. 

Actually I can't listen to Jake talk about anybody. Was there a provision in Arnie's will that Golf Channel/NBC had to keep him on air?

Kind of nice to know that even the pros shank it once in a while.

I found today's telecast kind of boring. The course is soaked and toothless! Plus, add in lift, clean, and place or, as Gary McCord calls it, "lift, clean, and cheat", and greens like dart boards it was kind of a big yawn. Still, expected Tiger to do better given the conditions.

And hey, the putter worked great of Thursday. What's been wrong the last two days?

It's predicted to rain all day, so even if it starts raining less, the course might be too soaked to play. There's predicted rain tomorrow too, but not so much.

With them being off next week, it seems a bit ridiculous they'd consider making it a 54 hole event

PGA Tour rules say they can't play on Tuesday unless at least half of the field finishes the fourth round by the end of Monday.

      Question for the group. The course I normally play at has 27 holes - 3 9s that they use to for 18 in the various combinations. Is it okay to declare* if I’m playing front or back when I play 9 on this course? I’m figuring I need to declare before I play a shot. *meaning just say to myself that this is the back 9. Curious what people think. Of course, my only holes left are 13 and 17, so I’m going to declare the back 9 for the rest of the year. Probably only one or two more rounds though.

      I agree in general. The one way in which the viewer will notice the pace of play is just that "it's been an hour and Nelly Korda or Scottie Scheffler have only played four holes." Or if for some reason they show a lot of shots of players just standing around when they could be showing golf shots. But I think Andy Johnson said it most recently/best, playing fast is a skill, too. I would love for pro golfers to play faster. You'd see the players you want to see hit more shots in the same time than they do now. So I don't disagree with the pace of play stuff, and hope they can find ways to do it. Heck, the LPGA should leap at the chance to differentiate itself in this way, IMO. So: I stand by what I said in that the TV viewer really doesn't notice much about pace of play. It's rare when they do. I support increasing the pace of play wholeheartedly. But my top five reasons don't include TV ratings or viewership.
