Woodland and I both got MDF**ked, so a very poor 8th place for me, not that it would have changed much..

Congrats to Antneye on the win.

Well this sucks had a good first round, even wasting Phil sitting on my bench.

Now comes the dilemma, if I switch him he'll have a poor second round, if I leave him as is, he'll probably shoot the lights out again.

This always happens to me it seems, decisions, decisions.

I gaze into my Fantasy Globe each week and have discovered I can predict the future.

Last week I start Rham and Rose and they did squat.

Go figure they tear it up this week....

I better check the "time clock" on my Globe, apparently it's behind a week.

@gogolfing your bench outscored your roster.

I've perfected that scenario this year....

Yes, me too....having a bit of a tough season....but hey it's just January! I get my momentum going around the Players in March!

Last year the North and South courses at Torrey were quite similar in terms of scoring if my memory serves me right after the North course was renovated.

Seems to be back to the historical scenario of the low scoring on the North course.

First to worst; thanks to Cantlay WD this week.
That's what I get for not checking before they tee off, which is easier when they are playing on the left coast.
Oh well, onward and upward - kinda like hitting it OB off the first tee

Totally SCREWED this week with the first round rain out .....

On Friday, I could not adjust my lineup for round two which had not been played.

I tried to enter Rory into the 2nd round for lame ass HV III and Rory goes  -8 under ….  :pound:

I don't understand why these sites can not operate in REAL time …..

Yes would be nice if they got this glitch figured out.....tournament delays are the curse of Fantasy Golf.

It's only 2019 @Club Rat we may be asking for too much....🤔

I had my players picked and now they are all showing not entered. Anyone else having this issue?
It is also interesting that the experts are picking players who are not in the field for the WGC-MEXICO CHAMPIONSHIP.

I had my lineup set, re-entered new players and then had to re-enter again.
It was showing the list of players for the Puerto Rico instead.
Apparently there's a glitch - Update - Fantasy Golf

No problem at my end;  picks are in for the WGC Mexico and I have not seen anything resembling the problem you seem to be having .

I didn’t have that problem, but I have received two emails saying that a few players have dropped out.

From what I saw over on DraftKings those golfers won't be affecting to many peoples picks.

@Club Rat - thanks for the heads up.
thankfully by the time I looked it seems like the glitch is fixed and my WGC Mexico picks are still valid
No let's hope that the weather doesn't screw up the schedule and shuffling lineups.

    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
