Your first thought when you look at the base of this hybrid ??

... my first thought is holy S**T that thing is going to have to be cleaned with a brush after every shot - the base is so busy with all kinds of crevices & slots, it will get packed with all kinds of dirt and mung.

I just wish hybrids and fairway woods would have a smooth featureless base ... wouldn't look cool enough I guess when everybody is making this kind of club today:

Yeah it is pretty "busy".  I know I get tired of pulling the grass out of the slot of my RocketBallz 3 wood every time I hit a shot off the deck.

But wait, aren't you supposed "try and hit UP on the ball so you don't hit the ground"?

I always heard you hit hybrids like long irons. :scared:

As for woods - I can't hit up or sweep them ... creates a hook for me - hit slightly down on those too to straighten them out.   I guess it all boils down to preference ...

Yep, a car speaker. My hybrid is a Cleveland Launcher with Glide Rails. I'm sure it helps a little, but maybe more so subconsciously.

I put a brush in my bag recently.

Wait ... your supposed to clean a club after use?

Yup, unless you frequent courses where someone washes them after the 18th hole is done. :-P

Yep, a car speaker.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that resemblance. I spent way too much time working on car stereo systems in my car I think.

Meh. A wet towel will get everything important and you can detail it when you get home. If you are in to that sort of thing. And admit it.

Eh, grooves and chunks of mud get cleaned but if you cleaned the mud out of the sole of your club every time, you'd spend half your day cleaning. My home course stays soft.
