According to sources, real money pit on the right is ~200 million.

I could never keep that pile on the right so organized. I would have gone DuckTales on that thing a long time ago.

I was thinking the other day about how the show should end. And I thought about how they like to use songs that are at least tangentially meth-related. Which got me thinking, why not use the song that ended every '90s movie, and that most people don't seem to know is actually about meth? Mr. Lambert goes down in a hail of M60 fire, while 3EB cuts in. Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo... "I'm not listening when you say, goodbyeeeeeeee." (Okay, so I'm like half-kidding. :-P)

I realize how important the recent episode was to bridge the story, but it was awfully slow paced. I didn't particularly care for it.

I'm in the same boat as you. Especially coming off such an exciting episode last time. I was feeling a bit underwhelmed after watching it last night. However, I'm thinking that this is setting up for a wild next episode.

It kinda has to. There aren't that many left!

So good to see Walter Mirandized and cuffed. So... Damn... Good... Too bad he got away though. Still 3 more episodes for him to get a tasty demise.

Am I the only one who thinks its NOT over for Hank at this point?

If it was, they probably would have ended it with him getting shot. Not necessarily dying, but getting shot somewhere to make you wonder.

I agree that it might not be over. But who the F knows? (I mean besides the cast and whatnot...)

I think Hank, his partner, and Jesse all get killed and they force Walt to cook for them. Probably way off, but we'll see how it plays out.

If I HAD to guess, I'd say that Hank throws Walt to them, and they just take off with him...leaving Jesse, Hank, and Gomie in the desert.

I just don't see them killing Jesse and Hank in the same episode.

Maybe the kill Hank and Gomez but take Jesse to either do the cooks or force Walt to cook again.

I'm interested to see how many people share this sentiment. I still root for Walt to get away with it all.

Walter ends up in a wheel chair with a bell, Jr takes over operations and everyone else dies. Sunset in Havana. The End.

I'm interested to see how many people share this sentiment. I still root for Walt to get away with it all.

From the moment my wife started watching the show with me, she already hated Walt.  She didn't watch season 1 at all - when you couldn't help but feel sorry for him - so that probably plays heavily into her perception, but I was always rooting for him.  Somehow, even up through the end of Season 4 and the poisoning of Brock I still rooted for him.

I think the turning point for me was the scene in one of the tented houses where Walt is cooking and Jesse basically tells him he can't do it anymore and he has to go home.  He's devastated by the killing of the Sharp kid and he doesn't know if he could go on.  Walt says he's broken up about it too, but as soon as Jesse leaves the tent he's going about his business and starts whistling like he's happy and carefree.  After that, I've pretty much wanted him to die.

Then again, who knows, maybe upcoming events will make me change my mind, lol!

    • 26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.
    • Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
