This guy is phenomenal.  I have seen him in concert once (with the Pacific Symphony, where he did the second song, and something similar to the third where he played one of the cello parts in a two cello concerto with his voice):

One concert I attended, he had the audience sing along with him. He can make it sound like there are three, four voices going at the same time.

While cleaning out my garage I came across an old, old CD, with all the markings scratched off. Put it in my laptop, and surprise! It still worked! 

It turned out to be one of the first mix CDs my friend made for me. He's an incredible guitar player, and when we were younger we were in various bands. He introduced me to bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, and a host more. 

All of this is to say that I went on a rock deep-dive, which I haven't done in years; I've become more of a hip-hop/rap guy, but it was nice to get back to my "roots", to be precious about it.

Was lucky enough to have seen Lisa Loeb open for Lyle Lovett, both from Texas, both with the initials LL.

I too was lucky enough to see Lyle Lovett over the weekend, on Friday night.  The opener was Emmylou Harris.  And after hearing her lovely touching songs, Lyle came on and did this one about poultry intimidation.
