I am. I’ve been an organ donor since as long as I can remember. My late BIL was a recipient of a liver many years ago. He lived another 7 years, but it made a great difference. A close friend of mine got a kidney from a coworker. I cannot see a more honorable thing to do to help someone if I pass.

I voted no because I have a medical condition that would not allow me to be a donor.

I think I am...not sure. But I had cancer (after originally signing up years before), does that cancel me out?

Not necessarily. Depends on the cancer and it’s affect on your organs.

Me too.

That commercial is hilarious.

Funny, and yes have been since the 80’s when I got my driver license. First few years I was on look out for roaming teams of hmo organ harvesters, but that never materialized.

I don't think anyone would want my liver.

But I have donated my golf swing to any 25 handicapper who wants to improve a bit.

I fully support organ donation... it is a wondrous thing.

Oh my gosh, I remember when people feared passing out at parties and waking up in bathtub full of ice with a note saying something about "We've harvested your kidney, call 911." Or some crazy s#it like that. I knew know people that used to believe that was a thing.

Yes, for many years.

last summer my 51 year old cousin died from an aneurysm and my understanding is her organs helped many. I do not recall now but think they said over 30 people were helped.

Note: She passed in a similar manner to Sweeney but she was not an asshole.

Yea I was in my 20’s and waking up in hotels from Kenya to Tokyo, I certainly heard those tales, and for the traveling years it was in the back of my head. Somehow life worked out.

    • Day 312 - Better finishing position, fuller backswing, PRGR to see how swing speed was.
    • Going to a Friendsgiving tomorrow and I am bringing a no-bake cheesecake. I make the crust too big, but I think it turned out good. The filling is really good.
    • Sure, but how was your alignment? 🙂 Day 53 - 2024-11-22 Mirror work after getting back home. Wife is a superstar for her career/job/whatever.
    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
    • Day 128: played 9. Nice little even 9, with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys.
