So far he has proven me wrong. He is hanging in there quite well, but we will see.

Proved you wrong all day. And before that I’m winning three majors and 12 PGA Tour events.

Yep, he did. Surprisingly, I'm usually not wrong.

I can't remember the last time a major champion, or any tournament winner, thanked their caddie in the speech at the end.  Other than a few minutes ago, of course.

This is wrong. Career earnings from tournaments is like 7 million?

Before today his 2019 to 2021 career was 11.8M.  So pretty close to 14 after today's tournament.

I see now. It used to be easier to get earnings on the PGA Tour site. It’s a couple of taps more to find it than when the site was less complicated.

Why is it wrong? Before the British Open it was $11,886,526.

British Open prize money $2.07 million. Thats about $13.95 million.

I was looking at an ESPN table that only went back two years. Should have checked PGA Tour but hate the website’s design. Not that ESPN is any better.

Unsurprisingly, you were proven dead wrong on this one. Seems to be a pattern. That in itself wouldn't normally bother me. But the fact that you feel the need to patronise Spieth is a bit off. He did everything you said he couldn't do, but you said he was "hanging in".

The PGATour.com one is probably better :-)

I think it happens pretty much all the time. Lowry, for example.

The PGA Tour used to have a very nice and easy to use website.  I think this was back when Elin was married to Tiger.

Good point.   I don't remember that one, but in retrospect, you are right, it should happen all the time.

I'm not sure if Hideki Matsuyama thanked his caddy but his caddy thanked the course!

Yeah, that was pretty cool too :-)
