Yet another IT nerd 🙂 I'm a programmer currently building Android apps for the big online book store.

I'm having trouble learning to behave like a "stupid monkey". I'm sure some of you other IT folks over analyze too! Help me...

How have I never posted in this thread before?

I'm a restaurant technician. I troubleshoot and repair commercial restaurant equipment. My job also covers a broad range of general maintenance responsibilities that overlap construction, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-R fields but I'm not licensed in any of them. I'm a jack-of-all-trades.

Until recently I worked in senior management for the world's largest smart phone maker, before I left corporate life I moved to their new self-driving car group for a few years.

I turned 40 this year and I am now starting my own business focusing on new tech including VR and cars.

Hi!

I'm a part time machinist while I, as pastor, get a small church off the ground with a few people. I usually have an AM radio show, right now Voice of Hope radio, specifically their African continental 2 signals of 100 kilowatts each 1700 UTC (12 noon Eastern US time). I live in Florida, USA, but I'm on our African stream for language reasons versus their Spanish Americas and Middle Eastern streams/signals. You can visit radioministry.org as well.

The part that is most up to date is >Listen and then >Sermons, weekly updates.

Thanks!

    • On what grounds? It has been mentioned here that the purpose of such swale is to collect and divert water. This is from the Definition of  Penalty Area: A penalty area is: •• Any body of water on the course (whether or not marked by the Committee), including a sea, lake, pond, river, ditch, surface drainage ditch or other open watercourse (even if not containing water), Seems pretty straightforward to me.  That means also that any water in those swales is NOT Temporary Water and the is NO free relief from them whatsoever.
    • Bogey, par, bogey x 3, par, bogey, par, bogey x 3, par, bogey x 4, par, bogey. Sorta decent round.  Extra wet ground in some places with swamp and casual water.
    • Broke 80 by shooting 72.  Also the "No 6's" challenge. (Posted this on the challenge thread also.) Thanks!
    • Shot 36-36 = 72 - 1 over on my home course. 3 birdies and 4 bogeys.  Tied PR.  Windy with slight rain. Hosted 16 members of my other club to play with 15 members of this club. Amazing day. Good score was just a bonus.
    • Very, very quick video. Thoughts? Some questions/comments: Do you think 60° to 120° is a lot? Is there a benefit in reducing that number/rotation? Is this something you "do" or something that "happens"? What are some other PGA Tour player numbers? What do you think?
