My sister-in-law bought two bags of golf clubs for some reason. One was a woman's set she actually thinks she'll try to use. The other bag was some ancient men's clubs with an old Ping Anser putter with one of those fat grips. I can't remember if it was the original, two or three, but maybe she'll let me mess around with it on the course if we get another decent day.Β

I currently roll with a Ping Sigma G Tyne H. It replaced a Callaway Two Ball that was Β 15 years old. The Ping was the first putter I tried out that rested better than the 2 ball. I’ll not be changing again any time soon

I use a Ping Redwood Anser and a Tyne 4. Β I prefer the look of the Anser but the balance of the Tyne. Β There is currently a battle for the top spot.

My favorite Ping putter was the Nome 355 adjustable. Nice and heavy with a smooth feel.

I had a Redwood and gave it to my son. He still plays it.

Every model is either face-balanced for a straight stroke, mid-hang for a slight arc, or toe down for a strong arc. I play Ping Heppler Tyne 3 Putter.

What’s weird to me is how Ping claims the Tyne 4 that I have to be strong Arc yet it has the same toe hang the Anser.

The TM Spider Tour doesn’t claim any particular arc but it is the same as the Tyne and a lot of people love itΒ

I play with a Ping Anser 3 , it is brass I believe. Came out in 1981.

I liked it better than any of the mallet style putters I tried, I have a wristy pop kind of putting stroke so it works for me.

I currently have two Ping Heppler Putters, the Tyne 3 and the Tomcat 14.Β  Both are fantastic putters, and have the adjustable length shafts for adjustability.

My first putter was an Anser 3 that was in the bag that the guy who introduced the game to me picked up at a garage sale and gave me. I now play with an Anser-style Edel.

I’ve used the mobile app and it was dead on. Β Zero loft is odd…

Another interesting is it from Ping… according to their fitting guide, if you use a Pistol grip on your putter it can turn a putter for β€œstraight back, straight through” to one that is β€œslight arc.”

My Edel has 1Β° of loft.

Scottsdale TR Anser 2. Pretty sure it's defective, sometimes right, sometimes left, and then it leaves 'em short too.
