Walker got Lyme disease and had a lot of issues from it. Vegas and Mahon lost their mojo and seem to only due well in B & C level tournaments. Weir is on the Old Guys tour. Not sure about Schnanernanergans.

It's always so weird seeing cops in full uniform at these events. Why can't they put them in khakis and a polo with "POLICE" in giant letters on the front and back? The English teacher term would be anatopistic or anatopism

I don't find it weird at all. Part of the full uniform contains things they might need, gun, taser, handcuffs, radio, even a bulletproof vest.

Obviously they could carry all of that stuff with them if they were in khakis but just seems easier IMO for them to wear what they normally wear day in and day out and they know where every piece of equipment is on their body when they are in full uniform.

Why do you find it weird? They are on the clock doing their job, what's weird about them being in uniform?

Because they're on a golf course. I feel the same way about their outfits at any other sporting event. Especially when the cops are old and out of shape

So if they were doing traffic control on the street right outside the golf course then they should be in full uniform but if they're 50 feet right inside the gate doing crowd control they shouldn't be in full uniform? That doesn't make sense to me.

Yes, exactly. I'll give you another example, have you ever seen Golf Guy in his full attire with his Titleist hat on the mall? Looks at a place doesn't it? It's the exact same thing.

That makes even less sense to me. The police officer is on the clock doing their job. Golf Guy at the mall isn't. Plus I don't really think someone wearing a polo with shorts and a hat is out of place at a mall.

The police officer is actively on duty and their uniform serves a specific purpose that helps them perform their job as they were trained.

That officer knows where every single piece of equipment he might need is located on his uniform. If the officer wore something they weren't used to and suddenly a life threatening event happened those extra split seconds they were fumbling around trying to find a piece of equipment could mean life or death for someone.

I'll frame it a different way. What, in your opinion is a practical reason (other than it looks weird) that the officers should wear something different when working a sporting event?

Does it help their performance? Does it save the department money? Is how they're currently dressed distracting to anyone participating in the sporting event?

IMO the answer to all of those are no, so I'm struggling to see the reasoning as to why they'd be better off in khakis and a polo. Now if the officer was off duty and not working that'd be a bit different. But these officers are actively working.

Keegan's shoulders stick up to high or something. I never have liked him. Hopefully someone on the course knows the Heimlich maneuver, might come in handy.

It kills me how he’s an elite golfer yet holds his club down at his knees. I wonder what the specs are on his irons?

Well, they'd match his impact conditions, not his setup… right?

Damn. His wedge setup seems even more dramatic. What move does he do to get to a ‘normal’ impact when he starts with his arms hanging so low?
