As I watch the masters in bad weather I can’t help but wonder , when I see the misreads, and close misses, if the less experienced players would have been better served by using local caddies.

Scottie drains one from 40 feet on 11, then hits it 40 feet long into the bushes on 12???

Will it come down to 12 again? Down wind and many guys nuking it over. Brooks has been one to hit long on approach shots.

      First swings at after a 2.5 month forced hiatus. No surgery in the forecast at the moment! Doc said okay to start easing in gently over a few weeks. The effort is barely 30% here but felt solid.  I think my swing changed a few years ago after my right ankle injury (weight shift profile). I wonder if this may bring about another change. I certainly won't pivot on to the knee (left) aggressively any time soon, if ever. Could even be a good thing..heh.

      Slomo video of me working on the arms raising thing in the backswing. I think this is better, albeit I’m going fairly slowly and then stopping. Too darn cold to go outside and I don’t have room to safely make a full motion indoors, so this will have to do till I can make it to the range.
