39, feel and look much younger

I've been playing since I was 16. I watched some guy named Jack win his 6th Masters and thought it was really cool. The next day I went to my friend whom I knew played golf, and asked him to take me. It's been a wild ride ever since.

Cheers, Allan

I'm 56, but I feel like 46 and I think like I'm 26. The problem is, as I see it, is that what was once a 7-iron shot is now a 6...etc.

I turn the big 40 this June.

53, about 20 years at least some every year, a few times in the few years prior to that. If I was 60 I wouldn't be a member either, I would be living somewhere where I could play most days.

I'll turn 30 this year! Oh sh**! Did not really think about that until just now. Doh!

I've had my clubs since college, but did not seriously start play until about a year and a half ago.

I'm 28 and been playing about 4 years. It wasn't until last summer that I felt like I was actually playing, rather than chasing the ball around the course.

    • I was using the window as a mirror. Just trying to be a more aware of the feels for a better backswing. Trying to not be as closed from A1 to A2. Then not letting the club head flip inside. What I was feeling was a pressure my right wrist, and like the palm of my right hand was pushing upward against the grip of the club. My right hand was the underside of the swing path.  Going to play around with this a bit more. It looked pretty decent with mirror/window work. Just wanted to jot it down.
    • Day 4: 3/26/25 Par4Success workout followed by putting through 50 mm gates.
    • Day 249: did a stack putting session and then worked on 5 foot putts for a bit.
    • Day 17 (26 Mar 25) -  Big day working on a project at church - therefore it was grab some time with the 9i in the backyard working on pitch and runs later in the day.  Focused on keeping the ball flighted to get some good rollout.  Hit about 20 shots doing that and then moved to the 54 to keep working on getting good torso rotation and not flipping through it.  Was not perfect as there were some bloopers and fliers but overall a good session on distance control.
    • Day 177 - 2025-03-26 Hit some slower drivers and some little wedges today. Drivers were to show the dumb side of my brain (the subconscious side) that the downswing works just fine.
