That's a body double. It looked like a head was tacked on.

One scene reminded me of Butch Cassidy & the Sundance kid.

I count 7 legitimate cliffhangers.

Jon Stark dead, Dany and Dothrakis, Sansa/Theon jump, Arya blind, Stannis dead, Tyrion/Varys, Myrcella dead.

And watching HBO's two other shows, Richard gets voted out of his own company despite beating Gavin in arbitration, Selena's election in limbo. No happy endings in HBO land.

Oy vey!  Do we ever get any resolution of anything in this show?

Does anyone watch Tyrant or Wayward Pines?  I just started watching both and am totally hooked.

Wayward Pines took about 4 episodes for me to even start to get interested.  And I LOVE Matt Dillon. I almost stopped, but gave it one more try, and when they brought his family into Wayward Pines, that was when it starting picking up for me- not sure why.  Now I'm intrigued by the time travel, (de)evolution,  and Truman Story elements. Baffled, but interested. Hope they can pull this together coherently.

Yep ... I'm all in for Wayward Pines.

Such an awesome concept ... get in a car wreck, wake up 2500 years later, and nobody will tell you whats going on rinse and repeat.

Deutschland 83 only one episode in so far, but a fun watch. The Americans, w/o the angst. East German soldier forced to spy on NATO in West Germany after Reagan's Evil Empire speech.

Halt & Catch Fire trying to retrofit today's social media theme into online gaming/communities in the 80s.

I'm not buying the 2500 years in the future part--not yet.  If they are in the future, it can't be due to some induced hibernation.  The original Sheriff Pope (Terrence Howard's character) caused Burke's family's car crash.  That fact eliminates the possibility of a 2500-year sleep.  It's possible the underground facility has some kind of time-travel device, and they made up the hibernation story to keep the "chosen" from trying to return.  I'm leaning right now towards some bizarre government experiment.  In episode 1 (I think, maybe 2) the Dr. Jenkins mad-scientist character met with Ethan Burke's Secret Service supervisor on the steps of the Federal Building in Seattle.

That's what I like about the show.  It makes you try to solve the puzzle.

I just saw that Tyrant got a second season. I think I'd deleted my season pass because I thought I'd heard it wasn't getting a second season. Cool.

Catastrophe - Comedy. American man gets British woman pregnant, they try and sort it out. Purposely shows some of the ugly facets of every day life. Very funny. Amazon Prime. Originally on UK's Ch 4.

I don't understand how you can't access via Hulu? If you can post on TST via a desktop browser, you can access this:

I was at the bookstore and couldn't resist skimming through the last book in the trilogy. Even though I know the ending, I'll keep tabs on the show, it's pretty good.

I meant I don't subscribe to Hulu, I already pay for Netflix and Amazon Prime, don't really need another.

    • 70 today. The number looks good but, the course is a par 67 (5,110 yards, 64.3/115.). While the 70 took quite a few good shots to achieve, I am not counting that as shooting my age.
    • Played our town’s executive course this morning. Everything is closing but for now Huron Hills remains open. #13 is shaped like an upside down backwards L (dogleg left). Only 231 yard par 4. Dogleg has a tree guarding the corner and a sand bunker guards the green for those cutting the dogleg. Tiny green. About 10 years ago or more I would try to cut the dogleg. The hole is so short that even if one tangled with the tree or was bunkered, par was likely and birdie was still on the table. Now in my 70’s, I just hit it straight and try to wedge it close for birdie. Today I screwed up and pulled my drive. I wandered around a bit when my ball was not in the bunker. Finally located it on the approach to the green. Almost chipped in and tapped in the 2 inches for birdie. Best unintentional shot of the week. 😲

    • Why wouldn't it have? It's not like you were playing it as a 145yd par 5 and made a 2 or something.  Or not like it was playing 50yds to a temporary green or something either.
