Some of the fastest:

John Daly, Chris Riley, Dustin Johnson, Mark Calcavecchia, Pat Perez and Brett Quigley

I would guess Tom Watson is in there.

My guesses for slowest:

Jim Fuyrk, ugh brain cramp. There's alot of them, I can't think of any now. The ones that make me check what else is on the DVR or change the channel or surf the web.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

yeah, furyk is pretty slow. i shudder to think what he has done to the hacker who watches him and now thinks he has to adopt furyks putting routine...ugh...

ben crane is also notoriously slow.

sabbatini is not slow.

Brandt Snedeker has to be the fastest from the time he addresses the ball to the actual shot.....dude flies

Bubba Watson is a slow player, he stand there swinging the club forever. Looks like he's going to step up, but then doesn't afterall.

Taking your time to plan a shot is fine, up to certain limits, but once you got the right club and know where to aim, just go ahead and hit the damn ball.

Why isn't Angel Cabrera in there? He's the fastest guy I've ever seen to play golf. Just gets up there and hits it

How can know one have named JB Holmes as one of the slowest? He has the most annoying and time consuming pre-shot routine out there.

Trevor Immeleman and his partner took more than 5 hrs in the last round of a major a Couple of years back

Harrington's definitely slow...been put on the clock plenty of times. The announcers of last week's tournament made a point of saying this, but other guys still love him as a partner because of the easy-going attitude. Not sure I could finish a round with Furyk or Crane.

Imagine walking 18 with Furyk and Holmes. Even watching them play as a spectator.

Anyone know what the average time is used on the PGA tour for 18 holes with two in each flight?

Some of the fastest:

It's an unusual stat. Unlike being put on the clock, where shorter hitters are at a disadvantage, it seems like the first to hit isn't even tracked. Wouldn't Chris Riley always be hitting first? OR do they mean the first player on the tee (rather than the fairway) is not timed?

I think the average round for two is 4 hours. I remember last year a single went off first and got around in an hour and 45 minutes and shot a 67. I can't remember who it was but that is quick.

Angel Cabrera without a doubt one of the fastest, he decides what he's gonna do, steps up and almost straight away the ball is in the air
