Guess the Handicap

My cousin just guessed a 12. I think that sounds right. Too late to change my choice though. This guy could easily have gotten serious about golf for the first time like a month or two ago for all I know.

I'll give it a shot, he hit the ball pretty clean. Form looks out of control, but he has it all together right before he hits the ball. I guess 9 handicap.

I guess 10.5. I would have no idea how to go about fixing that swing. It does look funky especially the back swing with the right elbow flying out, but the ball flight looks decent. Divot is at the ball or slightly behind, but he gets to a decent impact position.

I feel like this is a trick question, at first glance, first guess would be high, but contact seems pretty good even though the swing is a little strange, but he seems to get back in the right position.

Now I am upset... I told you not to post my swing on this forum. No, seriously, this guy is getting into the same position it seems. He's grooved. His positions are repeating. If he can chip and putt then I'll say he's a 3... but, I don't know how he would play a long course with demanding length carries and be forced to work the ball both ways. Surely he does not do this on 50-60 yard pitch shots.

Work on:

1 - Backswing Swing Plane. Strictly for cosmetics as he's able to get his hands in the right place in the downswing.
2 - Right Hand at Impact. It looks like a though he pull-hooks both shots just a tad. He's a little quick to release his right hand through impact.
3 - Both Hands through Impact. He looks like he hits the ball pretty nicely, taking a bit of a divot both times, but if he wants some extra distance he could stand to have his hands in front of the clubhead at impact a little more, getting some extra compression. Think punch shot.

Despite an odd swing path, this guy seems to be really flexible, has excellent followthrough. He's probably been playing awhile, and has a unique swing movement. Would suspect he has flare-ups of wild drives within a round.

Guess: 14 HDCP

Things to work on:
* Loosen grip somewhat, allow for more natural, wider hinge between hands and club shaft
* Rotate shoulders back, don't lift with right arm. (Lower body seems to be OK for now)
* With right arm relaxed, practice "set" at top that doesn't cross over into superloop.
