I'm glad he's playing good golf again, but concerned that his self-indulgent mindset (e.g. club-throwing) is going to interfere with his ability to play good golf. As his new coach says - all that negative energy is not a good thing.

Okay, but that doesn't make much sense. He's thrown clubs in the manner you're describing for as long as we've known him. Won 14 majors and over 70 PGA Tour events doing it.

For all the talk, Rory and Tiger seemed to get on like a house on fire. Rory will one day regret those frosted tips, though.

One thing is for sure, Tiger is making a lot less bogies than he has for the most part of this year. An uncharacteristic six on the par five second, but it happens.

OK, we just got a front view slow mo on Woods, Koch said something like much more upper body rotation and a lower exit. To me, it looked very S&T; ish. It looks like his left heel is banking in more and that awkward finish a couple of months ago is gone.

iacas and S&T; folks, what do you think?

I'd say that attitude worked out for him just fine the past 15 years or so. The Tiger of 2010, also the one who had a better on-course attitude, was winless. I never cared for some of Tiger's actions on the course, but if he plays better like that, more power to him.

Man that shot on the par five off the hardpan by Tiger was ridiculous.

Rorys Putting is very bad

Not just his putting. He's short game overall hasn't been very good.

I've been watching on and off, which holes has Tiger hit driver? Seems like he's been almost strictly fairway woods off the tee since the course is fairly short.

Rory!!!!! you could be leading this, hes so streaky its unbelievable

mmhmm.... anyone who does what needs to be done could be leading this. But he's not he is 10 shots off the lead, kinda far fetched to say he could be leading.

Watched today's round and Tiger is looking very solid. Hate to get a head of myself, but he's looking very much like the TW of old. I hope the tour enjoyed the season with no Tiger. If this is his new golf game I think they might be in a little bit of trouble.
