It was impressive.

He still has the great recovery shots, but not the basic shots. Kinda weird

How many bunkers has Byron Bell had to rake now?

Yep - I've played (and I'm sure everyone else has) like that a LOT of times but in reverse: flushing 2 and 3-irons and then duffing 9-irons and PWs...

A lot and I'd be asking for a bonus even with Tiger missing the cut because his arm has got to be sore.

Tiger seriously looks to be on the verge of crying

Yes that's my game: 285 drive down the center of a narrow fairway with water on one side and O.B. on the other. Then chunk a short iron into a bunker.

My Tools of Ignorance:

Driver: Ping I20 9.5*
Woods/Hybrids: Cobra AMP 3W and 3 HY

Irons: Cobra AMP 4-GW

Wedges: Callaway Forged Copper 56* and 60*

Putters: Scotty Cameron  35" (Several of the flow neck blade variety)

Ball: Bridgestone B330-RX and Srixon Z-Star

Bag: Nike Performance Carry

Whichever announcer said it..I agree with them..Tiger needs to just keep playing.  His old schedule when he was in form just won't work right now.  You can't expect to come back to your old self after such long layoffs by playing once every month.

He just needs to finish out the year playing in any events he can get in and get his natural rhythm back.

My philosophy on golf "We're not doing rocket science, here."

I don't know, I think Tiger is struggling mentally and it affects his game a lot more than anything else.  Before the scandal, everything was almost perfect for him.  He is just not confident and not a happy person right now.  He needs to get over it to be competitive again.

Thanks to Steve Elling on twitter for this stat..

Actually, I hadn't really thought about the fact that Kaymer missed the cut at 2 Majors this season.  People were wondering how many months he'd been #1 a year ago ... there should be a rule about changing your swing within months of winning a major.

Eleven who made cut in every 2011 major: McIlroy, Schwartzel, Stricker, Yang, Sergio, Mickelson, Palmer, Woodland, Haas, E. Molinari, Bubba.

I've always liked Tiger as a golfer, but not so much as a person, so I was kind of surprised I found myself feeling bad for him today.  The guy looks lost, and if he could I think he would have just walked off the course and called it a day after his fat putt or sand wedge into the water.  I'm sure he had days like this coming up to his pro level, but I've never seen him struggle as much as he has these last two days.  It appears he's lost that mental edge and until he regains that I think he's going to struggle.

I was Following Rickey Dustin and Sergio on the 12th hole, and it was crazy when Ricky sank the putt. Right after that, he went straight to the porta potty. LOL

Hybrid:  Super Hybrid 17*

Irons: CG Reds

Wedges: Vr 52* 56*

Putter: Studio Select Newport 2.5 midslant

Ball: e6

Looked like Woods was trying to take a divot with his putter or something... I know he's compressing the ball better now, I just didn't think he was doing it with his putter too. :-P

Thanks TNT for showing every shot by a guy that wasn't on the first 7 pages of the leaderboard.  Thank God he missed the cut!  Now it will be worth watching.
