Tiger commits to three upcoming tournaments

Tiger seems to be reading this forum. World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship - Feb 20 - 24 The Honda Classic - Feb 28 - Mar 3 World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship on Tuesday - Mar 7 - 10 Thought it was worth a thread, Tiger being who he is.

It's good for golf when Tiger is playing, getting the big media to cover the events more.

I'm not sure what contract length he has with Nike currently (I think last one expired in 2011) but I'd guess he's feeling some heat with Nike signing Rory.

Followed him at Torrey on Sunday and saw some amazing golf shots.

He's already won a lot more PGA Tour events this year than almost everyone else will. :)

The Honda tried to make a media event of Tiger's commitment today although it was a foregone conclusion.  I skipped the press conference today, but last year it was a major freakin deal.  I almost went only to get the first hand account for my Trappers, but I had something else going on.

Any tournament that scores Tiger plain scores and can pick up 30% across the board. I see him really trying to win at the Honda because it is Jack's course and he finished 2nd to Rory last year.  He really had a great Sunday last year in the March breeze.

im conflicted...i love tiger more than anyone else on the face of the earth, but at the same time i like the mystique of him not playing that much, it makes the tournaments that he does play that much more special.
