I respectfully and earnestly disagree.

I'm just going to start posting that in the middle of heated debates without quoting anyone. :)

That's a lot better than "Ernestly" disagreeing, at least.  Right @Ernest Jones ??

No doubt Isaac is the man to beat, unfortunately for him, though, not sure he's going to be able to keep covering for Emily and Rice. I think in a head to head, I give the edge to Issac over Brian (at least based on how he played last night) and Rice vs. Doleman is probably a coin toss (although I'd probably have to give a slight advantage to Doleman). That leaves me with Shannon vs. Emily, where Shannon has shown herself to have the clear advantage in that match-up. Not sure if the final format will lend itself to a true head-to-head competitions, though, so my comparisons might be totally meaningless.

If it comes to a tie breaker type challenge, I'm thinking they should let the viewers decide...maybe a swim suite challenge between Shannon and Emily...or better yet, how about a PILLOW FIGHT...now that's good TV. LOL!

Haha - maybe.

I've liked Shannon from Day 1 - her confidence is very appealing.  It was hot when she called out Meghan Hardin.

That said:

Isaac > Brian

Rice = Doleman

Shannon << Emily.

So, slight edge if they compete at their normal levels but if they compete at their highest levels, then:

Isaac > Shannon > Brian > Emily > (Rice = Doleman)

...or how about bringing all the ladies back for a Big Break "Trampoline" challenge, maybe even bring Holly Sonders in to "demonstrate"...sorry, lost my train of thought...what was the topic again :)

Emily is sooooo annoying and only looks goo when she is done up. She has a flabby chest too...

So, you're saying you wouldn't caddy for her then.

See, I disagree with this and believe this is the recency effect on display.  Brian has been excellent this season and I believe the strongest male competitor this year.  I would also give Rice a decided edge over Doleman.  Shannon over Emily also.  Not saying blue time is a lock to win, but they should be the favorites.

And i have to disagree with you.. Issac has had confidence, gamesmanship, and a good swing, Brian seems to come and go. I know Brian has made some nice shout, but Issac has been doing it all show.. He just doesnt have the drama to carry with it.

absolutely, but IMHO - Rice > Doleman

look over the course of the series - the best Doleman's done is equivalent level, lately, he's been much worse than almost all the pros and Rice has been doing well enough to hold his own even if he's not stepped ahead, none of them have.

recall this show likely takes place over maybe a week or two

I also recalled that it seemed Doleman has played pretty bad at times.  I think it stood out because no one acting like that should be doing anything but killing it - and he seemed to mess up a lot.  At the time of his change in attitude, I attributed it to his poor play. It had become ridiculous.  I don't remember Rice doing anything spectacular, but I also don't remember him messing up or having to be carried by his team.  He seems to just do his part and hand it off to the golfers.

Brian v. Issac is a tough one.  I feel like I have seen Brian play fantastic and terrible (didn't he chip one about a 6 inches early in the season?).  Isaac seemed solid all season until last week when he really stood out.  I might give Isaac and Rice the edge over their counterparts.  Fish trumps Emily pretty good though.  Those 5 footers are a liability.

Rice's best performance was a few episodes ago when he put together a string of iron shots from short-to-mid range distances.  The challenge was to continually hit the green while moving further and further away.  His teammates followed that up by both missing the green on their first attempt(s).

I agree that Emily and Shannon are pretty close until they get to the green.  If you can't make those short putts it will bite you.  She's already missed 3-4 critical short putts going back to last season.

What isn't discussed much is the belief that Team Doleman won't be battle tested because they have no losses.  However, I do they they are about as mentally tough as any team remaining.  They went through their own psychological battles within their own team, and somehow came out of it unscathed (IMO in spite of Doleman, and not because he is some calculating leadership genius) and battle-tested.  I don't think they will shy away from the pressure one bit, and I believe a lot of Shannon's edge over Emily is in this area as well.

Like everyone else, I think the teams are quite equal. Doleman and Rice seem dead equal and it matters the challenge. Isaac is awesome but Cooper gets hot and doesn't miss. It might come down to the ladies. If it does, then I give the slight edge to Shannon.

He totally skulled his second, or third attempt it just happened to roll up and stay on the green. Just plain luck.  That being said, I just love Jerry R. the person. The most enjoyable part of this series is seeing what great people these athletes are.  I suppose it could all be the editing but they made sure to show Doleman as a bit of a control freak so I don't think they'd completely shy away from showing these men as they truly are.  Every one of them (save Doleman) seems completely likeable.

I don't really care who wins at this point, just hope we see some more good play like we had last week.

lol, totally forgot about that.  He appeared to shank his next shot too.

I remembered how impressed everybody was that he was on a run, but I kept reminding myself he started from like 80 yards (I think), and finished around 150?  Or maybe he started at 120, not sure.

Well, as opposed to the second to last episode where we saw some fantastic drama due to some good golf, I feel the last episode was won not by great shots but by the team that made the fewer mistakes.

Still a good finale, IMO.

    • Day 10- Worked on grip and keeping swing short.
    • Yes, slightly. Hitting driver and three wood much better, generally straight or a slight draw, Especially since I upgraded from ping G 410 to G 430. Both clubs have 2degrees more loft. That together with a slight swing  change, improved technology ,definitely getting more distance.  On the downside not hitting my ions as well as normal, pitching definitely improving, especially for someone who got to a four handicap 30 years ago and couldn’t pitch . Chipping a bit up and down, pardon the pun, that was definitely one of the reasons I got to that  handicap when I played many moons  ago, ( I stopped playing for 20 years), better short putter than I was before Had quite a few opportunities to shoot my age, 73, mostly didn’t chip as well as I could when I had the chance.
    • Finally, birthday number seven, just short in two & pitched to about 5 feet.  front nine all done! Also, got a lucky eagle on three, caught a nine iron a smidge  fat, never left the  pin landed short and rolled in the hole
