So @nevets88 , I watched both Coherence and The One I Love, both were birdies. Loved Coherence, the weirdness of the situation was way nerve wracking, and then the wife loved The One I Love, I did too, the ending was great.

Glad you enjoyed them. I need to watch Coherence again. So I can follow the house versions among other things. There's an interview with the director on Yahoo that's worth reading. I rewatched The One I Love. It's a fun little ride. Some people thought the ending was too scifi but I liked it. I think it would make a good TV series. Throw all different couples into that complex.

I think both Coherence and One I Love had similar endings, in feel at least. Quick, neat little reveals that intrigue.

Not quite that black and white, but I agree.

Not familiar with that pic - is it from Lost? I think both movies were clear in their endings, no?

Yes, Lost. They were, I meant that in the end of both movies, they had to make a decision.

Saw Predestination on the plane ride back home, give it a solid birdie. Love these kind of movies, psychological/sci-fi/thriller. Can't really get into what it's about but I'm still thinking about it a few days after. Will probably watch it again with my wife.

I know you guys hit it earlier, but I saw American Sniper this past weekend. Wow. Very well made and Bradley Cooper was excellent! Definitely agree with the easy birdie.

I saw it last night (after getting shutout over the weekend when it sold out while I was in line, 45 minutes before the start time).

Clint Eastwood is just a great director. Terrific character study that does not politicize the war.

One thing for sure, war is hell. I feel for those guys who have to go through it and then find themselves stateside after all that trauma, let alone those that make the ultimate sacrifice.

Thoroughly enjoyed Taken 3. Good story and love the action. Made better by the presence of Liam Neeson. A solid birdie.

The Signal. A familiar sci fi trope is used here, but very stylized and some twists. Morpheus from The Matrix is in this doing... Morpheus. Tempted to give it a bogey, but will settle on a par because it is so stylish but the story is meh. If you plan on watching this, better not to watch the trailer.

    • Day 337 - Mostly putting (setup was the focus), but did a bit of full swing work as well.
    • Day 155: did a stack session.
    • Day 230 (19 Dec 24) - Spent some time working the 6i thru varied shots and related adjustments in setup (esp stance) - full swings, partial swing pitches and easy dink and rolls - using the hard foam balls.
    • I visited the PGA Superstore again today. Once again I messed around with the LAB putters. There was another customer there and this guy was totally sold on them. He walked away with one. Anyhow, this guy told me all about them. ... Pretty much stuff that we've already covered in this thread. I did mention to him that I wasn't impressed with the feel. To which he told me you have to try one with the upgraded shaft. So, I did. I have to say the feel was better with the upgraded shaft. Still not the best feeling putter out there, but clearly better than the standard shaft. The feel is also improved (in my opinion) by going with a more traditional grip instead of the forward leaning one. They also had one of the DF3's in blue. Which of course would be my favorite. The DF3 in blue with the upgraded shaft started to scratch the 600 dollar mark.  Once again, I came away thinking that Tour Edge is the way to go. They actually had a face balanced model for $99.99. I have to say it "felt" to my hands much better. Every time I go and test LAB putters I come away thinking more people should buy the Tour Edge putters. Just one man's opinion. BTW - I also tried the Odyssey face-balanced putter. It was okay.  Anyway, my experimenting with the LAB putters is probably over. Not sure when I'll replace my current gamer, but when I do, I don't think it will be with a LAB putter even though it does come in blue. 😜
    • Day 80 - 2024-12-19 Tested out the Garmin R50 for a little while. It seemed to give pretty good numbers.
