The weather is in the 30's for rhe next 5 days. Im definitely not a cold weather guy. I cant remember when the last time i played in 'cold' weather? Maybe its because i dont even have the appropriate cold weather golf gear? Sucks because not playing in the cold really limits my season.

I played two full rounds this weekend, walking, it was heaven, yesterday was really nice, warm and overcast, we had the entire course to ourselves, maybe one other guy out there, 50 degrees! are people nuts? this may just be the last day! we bounced around from course to course (3 nine holes) playing whatever holes we wanted, played until we could not see the ball anymore, winter blues is not here just yet.

We had about that in temperature, but more people. I found myself behind six guys in five carts. Nice guys and let me pass quickly enough, but it was really something watching five carts churn across the fairway. "Winter rules allow it here", they said.

Wow, that is strange, but at least they were out there.

Unbelievably nasty today. Not just cold but blowing snow. Sheriffs had a couple roads closed on the way to work. Hoping to leave work early the next couple days. Low tomorrow supposed to be -17.

Where in NY because I played Bethpage Yellow on Friday and the only other course open was Blue and the round took 5 hours to finish.

Cold today but getting warmer later in the week. My new hybrids were delivered yesterday and I couldn't muster much excitement sitting in my office with my jacket on.

This time of year, I'd much prefer cold than rain.

Really depends on the melt. Those highs will be for just a few hours in the afternoon. My guess is without anymore snow we are a few weeks away from any golf days.

Had I not had my daughter last weekend I would have rocked some golf. Saturday it is supposed to snow and be cold as hell. So much for hitting the links. Sux that I haven't swung a club in over a month.

It's starting to get dodgy here in Ohio. Right now a snow/rain mix on Saturday with a high of 40 doesn't sound too bad.

I'm hoping it won't snow much this winter.  I did the trifecta of preventing snow. I bought a four wheel drive Jeep in July.  Bought a new snow blower in November and got snow shoes for Christmas!
