so i had to go and look it up.  hes actually even shorter than i thought... he ranked 161 out of 180, right in between bombers Jeff Maggert and David Toms.

Now the scary thing will be to see exactly how "short" that is by our standards.....

In David's bag....

I've noticed he tends to have to take one club longer than everyone else he's paired up with on tour....I'm curious how his club selection will compare to yours :-D

Alright, I'm not very long......here's my "non-internet" real live "stock" yardages. I'll get a good feel for the GMAC's numbers on Wed....... That's awesome David. Did Golfnow send you a pass or something to show when you get to the course? I'm just wondering where you keep it, you know, just in case you can't make it for some reason, like you accidentally got locked in your car trunk or something. :-D

I am a little late on this but man, you are going to have an awesome day! What a great way for GolfNow to reward you and get people talking. Can't wait to hear about your experience on here.

I just got a call from GolfNow.  I was their top booker in the Orlando area this past year (it helps to book for a small group of nuts just like us) and they asked me if, as a reward, I'd be available to play in a 4-some with Graeme McDowell next Wed at Lake Nona.....one of the two courses that they play the Tavistock Cup at!

I'm an absolute mess.  I'm not gonna be able to swing a club.......!

Awesome. He seems to be a really great guy ( how could he go wrong, being Irish! :-D )

I've seen the ads promoting that, never really paid attention to what you had to do.

Congrats!

Ring ring...

Would you be available to play in a foursome with GMac?

No, I gotta catch up on Dancing with the Stars.

Are you kidding me?

Time to start following him on Twitter.

Definitely have to follow GMac now. BTW, reading that twitter feed, dude likes to gamble a little bit.

The offer still stands for the MySwing thread. We'll be more than happy to get you in shape in the remaining 48 hours before your appearance with Graeme! ;-)

Just saw this thread and OMG David, that's just awesome. You'll have a blast. Make sure you skip the first 9 to bring someone clothes and then only play the back nine with GMAC. He'll be impressed :)

I'll keep an eye on this thread, golfing in the Netherlands is pretty sucky currently...

Enjoy!

    • I know you guys were discussing this like a year ago. But, ironically I just had this discussion with my brother-in-law. We literally just did one of these. I'd always used the "Slow-Cook, Rest, and Sear" Method. But my bother-in-law was convinced the "5-Min/lb, 500 degree" method was the way. So, we gave it a go. I have to say it came out great.  I have a 25 year old, electric oven, GE brand... Not sure if that matters, but it came out great. ... Of course we stressed that nobody was to open the oven.   I don't make these all that often so, I'm not sure if I can fully recommend one method or the other, because without doing a Pepsi Challenge, I'd say both ways come out great. 👍😁👍
