What mementos do you keep?

I like course yardage books if they have one.

I've been acquiring these for the tournaments I've been playing.

However, I'm not much of a golf memento person.  I did save the scorecard and ball from my first (and still only) hole-in-one ... however, I think it's lost now, or it's in a box in the garage somewhere.

I get ball markers if I like the course...and will obviously keep hole in one balls if I ever get lucky enough to hit one....

I've got a scorecard and pencil from every course I've been to.

I have my first birdie. I will probably keep all of my firsts except Par (which has happened multiple times).  I kept playing with my birdie ball after the birdie then after just about losing it I decided to put it in my bag.

A scorecard from playing with my Dad a few years back on a golf vacation. We both had the exact same score, 86, and really enjoyed the course. My Dad was a big reason I got into golf in the first place, and now it is one of the major things we have in common. I'm not really a "momento" kind of guy, but I'll always keep that scorecard.

Yardage books mostly. Sometimes I'll add my own notes to particular holes as well.

I buy a logo ball anytime i play a course i have not previously played. My collection is small. i saved my first few birdie balls and have the logo balls from the few PGA events I have gone to at Innisbrook. All are on one of those golf ball racks in my living room

I collect hats from new courses I play.  I also have saved my first bogey, par and birdie balls with the dates and course written on them.  Still waiting for the first eagle and hole in one.

For four of the areas courses, I have three generations of scorecards, all 15 or more years apart. It's interesting to see how the yardage has changed - and sometimes the hole pars and layout - on these courses.

I have a giant alphabetical sorting folder that's full of scorecards. Golf courses from more than 20 states are represented.

With the recent TM vs. Callaway arms race, I have gotten different TaylorMade caps for my brother. He plays a Burner 2.0 driver, so if he's in a four-day tournament he can wear a different TM cap for each round!

That's a great idea. Mine are just in a big ziplock bag.

Im collecting the courses logo balls.. every new course I play in I buy their logo ball so I can see what courses ive played at

I keep my scorecard from every round. When I get my first eagle I might keep it and like everyone if I get a hole in one that's a keeper

Never even thought about keeping anything as a trophy. Lucked up and made an eagle on the third hole of my first ever round of golf (and didn't even know what an eagle was). I just figured people made them all the time.

A friend of mine bought himself some kind of a trophy for a double-eagle he made and that was the first time I ever knew of somebody buying themselves their own trophy. I had to give him a sideways glance.

(Seemed a little weird to me).

I figured trophies were something they gave you, for leading the league in something, to take home and show your mom so she could stack them in a closet somewhere to gather dust.

I kept scorecards and pencils, but now, for mementos of courses, I like video. Too bad one can't easily keep videos of great rounds/shots.
