Black Seed Bagels. Authentic Montreal bagels, wood fired oven cooked , denser, sweeter, smaller. This is how big bagels were 30 years ago.

Chinese fast food. Staples of Chinese cuisine, not the greatest but cheap and tasty.

Last night I made a home version of moo shu pork, turned out pretty tasty.  It was kinda fun making them little pancakes.

Trying to be patient and not burn my face off. I always request half broth but they always fill it.

Scallion pancakes are the yummiest. Major carbs though. And you have to eat them fresh.

What is this dish called? Looks delicious.

This is a veggie burger I had recently. No replacement for meat, but really tasty nonetheless.

Combo pho to go, unless you're joking.

Slammin' burger. The pub by our house does a nice veggie burger. I actually prefer it to their beef because they use some hideously lean, fancy hand fed cow stuff that doesn't have enough fat to taste like anything.

Oh man I really wanted a bowl of pho today, but they weren't open yet by the time I was ready for lunch. Ended up not eating all day instead.

Bummer it's one of those things that when you want it you want it bad. I've felt kind of blah all week and nothing gets me turned around like pho. Not finished either later I'm going to head out for bahn cuon some Asian Cajun stuff. The next step to feel better is a couple 33 Export's.

Yea, it's good stuff. I've been craving a bowl for a week now.

Blueberry Thyme donut. Good, but overpriced. Of course anything with a name like that would be.

Looks like chocolate with two worm gummies! Sounds interesting though. Lol re: overpriced with a name like that. Anything in New York with an herb from a Simon & Garfunkel song will have a premium on it.

My kids love carbonara. It used to be a weekly meal at my house. Haven't made it in a while, though.
