I'll be sick if mcilroy wins....I was disqualified from the contest because I didn't say 7 words and was the first to pick Rory. Scoring is good, but thought someone would go lower so far. Thought we'd see a 63 or 64. Still a lot of players under par. Wind supposed to blow tomorrow though.

I'm pretty sure you'd still have to be the closest to the correct score though. And a lot of people picked him.

He marked it as a formality until the pin could be taken out. He was on Phil's line so Ernie went first. He never even really got set. Since he was shocked it went wide, he reflexively reached out to backhand it back for an easy double-bogey. Then he missed that wide too. Geez He must've been rattled by hitting spectator on the first tee shot.

Yup. And unlikely -17 takes it.

Peter Alliss just lamented that players these days never hit the ball straight. Then he said "look at Lee Trevino, he'd aim down the left side and hit one left to right down the middle of the fairway." So take that, young'uns! He also just said he's "not a huge, huge, huge fan of links golf."

Well he'll shoot 77 tomorrow, so this is not going to be an issue

That Tiger exchange this morning with the photographers was crazy. The guy has back issues already and for him to stop his swing like that could've been REAL bad!

I think the only way Rory wins, is if they can change the calendars, and hypnotize him into thinking it is Thursday all four days ... then he will run away with this thing ...

I think I picked Sergio at -8.  either looks like they are still viable

I expect scoring to tighten up as the weather changes.  If not, there will be some words eaten....  ; )

(Rory leads on Thursday.......sigh)  I've stopped picking him, still would like it if he finds a 4 day streak

will have to do some internet searches, especially the club snapping....I think I was watching and just missed it

Follow these 3 steps

Step 1. Call a good friend/relative,

Step 2. After pretending you care how they're doing, ask him/her for their cable provider log in information.

Step 3. Use information obtained from step 2 to watch golf.

You're welcome

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
