What the hell? Do you know them personally? Did they run over your dog?

So what if he's married to a party girl? There's nothing wrong with party girls, just as they're is nothing inherently good about people who don't party

I have to come out and say it.. I agree with @Shorty on this one! I'm not feeling bad for the guy one bit IF this is drugs/alcohol (alcohol part is from me) related! Just none what so ever... It could be anything else and I would wish him well though, until more comes out he seems like a good guy and even someone who is down to earth worth having a coffee with! I guess I'm waiting to hear more to form a better formed opinion of the guy, not sure any detailed info will ever get out though!

I think he probably is a good guy and pretty down to earth. But I get the feeling he still likes his drugs/alcohol a bit much and being around her does not help the situation. He is not exactly Einstein upstairs either so that probably doesnt help with his decision making. Good for him to address whatever issue he truly has right now rather than waiting when its too late.

I also wonder if somebody has talked to him about it or if this was really from deep within to make this decision. Wonder if he has gotten any talks from some of the all time greats. The Great One himself however isnt exactly Mother Theresa.

I don't think that's what Shorty was saying...

If it is drugs, my sympathy is limited. Did he not get the memo that they have a tendency to do the opposite of what people think? The one that every child has been given on a weekly basis from age 5? If he's a "role model" and that's what he's out for, he has lost a supporter.
I don't think that's what Shorty was saying...
Maybe I misunderstood him.. I apologize in advance to @Shorty if that is the case! I will reiterate just in case... I have no sympathy what so ever for him if this is drug/alcohol related :) I don't expect many others to either, but it could be different for others depending on their experiences!

No-one ever needs to apologise to me on this forum. But thanks :-)

First post in here..

I have heard the whispers of drug dependence like most.

Seems a really likeable dude so I hope he sorts it out as he is awesome to watch

What is wrong with any of those things? Truthfully? What does it matter that they have fake tans? What does it matter they have 'chicken legs'? Legs spread on a boat. Christ almighty. Ain't nothing wrong with these women. They are allowed to live any way they want as long they aren't hurting anyone.

    • My two cents? Don't. As a beginner that's interested in learning about the golf swing, you'll find yourself consuming a lot of information, most of which isn't even relevant to your own swing. You need to learn you can't think your way to a good golf swing. Focus on the one thing that you're working on and doing that on every swing, come what may. And remember, mishits happen.
    • Day 6 (7 May 24) - More work in the backyard focused on tempo in addition to setup.  Worked with 6 and 7 irons hitting hard foam balls - used the old MacGregor irons to mix it up a little.
    • No! lol. But they have to be in the right sequence to play mid-handicap golf or little better. Mostly. And even in that there is range/margin for error in the motions and positions that most normal humans can handle. It helps if you have a decent idea of how a golf club moves around the body like you would any other equipment sports (baseball and hockey might be the closest) After all, fairways are 40 yards wide. Don't overthink it. Be diligent in getting basics right. I will concede that it is harder than it sounds but it certainly is not exact angle/exact position/exact degree of bend/exact speed/exact facial expression, etc, every.... single.... time or the result is horrible death.
    • Looking to play in the Severna Park Golf league and it got rained out the first three weeks. I know the course is being renovated so it is not in great shape but the location is easy for me and I would love to meet some other golfers in my area. Anyone here in Maryland Annapolis area?
    • I like to look at the positives.  Overall you are fairly consistent down the center with most shots 20 yards or less off center.  On most fairways that should be in play.  Sure, you had some very short duds, but also if you look there is a good cluster in the 110-125 yard range.  Sure, we would all like to be longer, but knowing your typical shot is more important than trying to hit the 7-Iron 175 Yards.  Just take more club for longer shots and do not worry about it.  Your distances may increase as you improve over time so do not get caught up on that now.
