Based on the last two weeks, you have to think Mahan, Snedeker and Simpson are the favorites as Captain's picks. Brendon Todd's ugly final round today didn't help his case any.

As to Tringale ... I've read several articles on it and his quotes. My conclusion is that he did not think he whiffed, but since the question came up and he was asked, he wanted to remove any doubt.
