Still doing my 5 mins at lunchtime. Have to be slow and specific otherwise I'd take the fluro tubes out. :-P As usual, I'm working on the arm and pivot sequencing, exploring a couple of different "feels" that get the picture more as it should be.

Getting my 5 minutes in after I sign off on my tax return and drop some copies of LSW off at the post office.

@Gunther did not seem to get his order in. Just re-checked and he did between when I printed an hour ago and now.

Did 5 minutes this morning, focused a little more on weight forward and feeling the left hip go behind me post impact.

That's a short tournament...

:-P

I should have videotaped some of it ... there were a couple of moments at the end where the "uber fist pumping sore loser dickhead" (I'm paraphrasing) Tiger Woods gave sincere congratulations to a man that was in the process of beating him.  Hal Sutton stuck his approach on 18 (I'm sure you've seen the replay - "Be the right club! ... Be the right club TODAY!") and then it showed Tiger walking up the fairway looking his direction trying to get his attention so he could say good shot and give him a thumbs up.

Then after Tiger missed his chip and Sutton 2 putted for the win, Tiger was the first to congratulate him, with a big smile, laugh, handshake and more than just a couple of words.

So out of character ... or at least the narrative that the haters are trying to spin.

Did 10 mins of golf swing with short weighted club in front of a mirror at the gym.  Checked my swing at the top each time, making sure my shoulder turned properly, etc.   Was mindful of flipping through the impact.

Ok got in some time tonight. Still working on Turing around my spine so my left shoulder angle is pointed more towards the ball vs being parallel to the ground. Still not great, but it's improving.

Been putting in my time all week. I took some (horrifying) video last week and have been working on fixing some pretty severe head movement (and subsequent corrections). After some careful practice I have quieted the head down and am feeling much better about things. First round of the year is Saturday.

Did 5 minutes after I got home from the gym last night working with my driver since at the moment, playing wise, it's the most pressing thing.

Then I did 5 minutes this morning before leaving for work because I'm traveling down to the City tonight.

One of those may have been mine!  I got an email on 4/15, from Ebay, saying my order had shipped.  I'm looking forward to learning!

I just noticed my gym has a room with mirrors on 3 sides!   I spent some time today checking my swing form from front and side.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
