Yup, this short weighted club below which I keep in my office :-) .  My company has an on-site gym.

NICE! I once discussed bringing my putter to the office and was told in not so many words that it wasn't a good idea. :(

Sure.  Why not.  I have a six iron and an old 3 wood at my gym.  I brought an old driver and keep it in my locker.  I use the mirrors to check stance and do swing drills.  Now my gym is not that busy, so only occasionally do I run into others using that part of the gym.

My practice has been limited, but I've been able to get in 5 minutes every day except for one. Most days it's been mirror work on the full swing but today I got to do about 20 minutes on the float load pitching motion. I'm hoping to follow that up with more short game practice this week. I've lost confidence in the motion on the course, which has limited my versatility around the greens. When I was practicing quite a bit, I noticed a big improvement in my touch.

I'm predicting a lot more grief from the wife.........I broke a light fitting in the kitchen after my last practice session!

Close to my heart.  In the last 1.5 years I've broken: 1) the glass door on low cabinet; 2) the lighting fixture on a ceiling fan; and 3) large waterford crystal bowl.

My home practice is relegated to my home office or the backyard.

Fortunately for me, everything I need to practice happens no later in the swing than A4. So at least during my home practice, it's just backswing. But I am addressing a real ball, so I worry what would happen if I decide to swing for some stupid reason. Maybe I need to get some foam golf balls just for the home practice or something.

Got my reps in last night. Gonna play in 20-30 mph wind this evening with gusts up to 45. This should be interesting.

Worked on hip motion this morning, focused on banking trail foot, less knee out to ball.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
