Is this a trick question?  Assuming it is not, count the number of par 4s & par 5s and there's the answer.

Very strange first post. I'm guessing he wants to count a GIR on a par 3 as a FIR but I see no reason why one would want to do that.

If you hit every fairway on the par 4's and 5's and you hit every green on the par 3's,,,,how many fairways did you hit during this round?

Well, assuming a typical par 72, 14 fairways.  Now if one wants to count hitting fairways multiple times while playing a par 5, etc... the number could be larger but generally the statistic of "Fairways Hit" only counts tee shots on par 5's and par 4's.

All of them. Since we don't know how many par 4 and par 5 holes are on the course then an exact number would be an assumption.

All of them.  FIR aren't counted on par 3 holes, so however many par 4/5 holes there are is how many fairways you hit.

Funny thread....................all kidding aside, most people track fairways hit as a percentage!!     On a traditional championship course, 14 is standard, but not always the case.   My previous home course had 3-5s........3-4s....and 3-3s on the back.    A perfect day was hitting 13-13 fairways in spite of it being a par 72 course.

With that said, the thread originator game me a chuckle with how the question was asked..LOL

    • I haven’t really filmed in a while. Starting to feel like my body is close to being at full strength again, but I am also 65! I played a few round and my distance is down as expected. Here are a 6 iron and driver swing. My grip is a bit weak in these so I’ve focused on that the last few days. I went over my Erie notes. I’m trying to swing down from the top and not out. I want my weight to start shifting forward at about P3. And I want to push my left hip back in the downswing, which I was not successful in these swings. Ball flight has been pushes or pull draws with the irons and fades with the driver. Looking at these swings I can see why. I just need to change the picture.
    • I flipped the video above but here it is again so you see the flipped version, too.
    • Things can go awry quickly on that hole.
    • I have played that course a lot. Mostly scrambles/outings. I enjoyed the read and could picture each hole and got nervous thinking about number 5. That hole is scary. 200 yard layup off the tee?
    • Even though you didn't score well, take solice in the fact you hit the longest drive of the year! 😏 I enjoy following your rounds and can imagine the scenario.   Thanks for sharing
