@snellgolf is giving some TST members the ability to do some Member Reviews of their new "My Tour Ball" and "Get Sum" balls.

This thread will serve as a point where the previously selected members ( there are perks to joining up as a Supporter! ) can post links to their reviews, discuss the balls with other members, and share extra thoughts following their reviews.

I just bought the "sample" pack for $28 which includes 6 My Tour and 6 Get Sum.

I like everything I have read so far on the site, and figure since I didn't get a chance to member review I might as well do a test and see which one better suits me.  I will most try and test them towards the end of my vacation, and hopefully by that time my swing is just a little bit better.

I will then review both balls and the differences I noticed for my playing level.. At the same time I am going to throw in there a few other types as well to do a cross comparison and eventually come out with the one that better suits me!

Should be fun, since I have never done this sort of thing before.

I received the "My Tour Ball" today in the mail.

I'll post my review after I have a chance to play them, probably in two weeks.

Thank you Snell Golf and TST for another get product.

Just ordered 2 dozen myself to tryout and I found this really cool comparison/evaluation of the ball- http://www.mygolfspy.com/direct-to-consumer-golf-ball-buyers-guide/

Does anyone know if they will  be raising their prices anytime soon? Also how long does it usually take for them to be delivered?

Played the first round yesterday with the "My Tour Ball" and was pleasantly surprised.

I'm going to go out on "a limb" early and predict everyone T & R the Snell products is going to be happy they chose to do so.

In my early assessment, the "My Tour Ball" will equal any premium ball in all categories of stats, playability, offered.

I too played my first round with the My Tour Ball, we ended up on Pinehurst No. 1 due to a weather delay which made the No. 5 course not be available due to an earlier event.

But I'm impressed with the ball, it performed as good as any ball I've played, I used one ball all day and it doesn't even look like I hit it other than just my marks have worn off a little.

Shot 33-39-72 Hit 12 greens, 10 Fairways, 2 birdies.  Now the course is not very hard and very short (Par 70, 5857 yds, 68/115), but can't say enough how pleased I am with the ball so far.

Playing No. 1 again today, bummed we didn't get to play No. 5.

A few more rounds in Vegas and I'll be ready for my review of the Snell golf balls. Really impressed with the MyTour golf ball.

I played my first round with the Snell Get Sum yesterday and was very pleased.  They were as long off the tee as the Chrome Soft and were pretty responsive around the greens when chipping and pitching.  They seemed a bit harder off my putter and rolled further past the hole than I'd expect but I need to do some comparisons to confirm that it was the ball and not me.  For a two piece ball I'm pretty impressed so far.

I ordered a dozen "My Tour Ball".. Unfortunately they didn't come in until after I got home from golfing today. Tomorrow looks like a no go for golf so I'm hoping to get out a few times this week after work.

On a side note it was kind of cool to see a handwritten, although surely a stamped version, "Thank you" in the box.

I'm quite anxious to see all of you reviews.  I've got about a dozen rounds in with the My Tour Balls and would like to hear other opinions to validate or contradict my own.  Sometimes when you change up a piece of equipment in you can see benefits that aren't actually there...

Have played 3 rounds with them so far and love them! I lost 11 of them so far which was just me being stupid but I have gotten some good check around the greens and they go the same distance as really any ball I have ever played. They feel super soft and overall really like the feel of the ball.

Preliminary review is that these balls are working well for me on approach and chipping. I'm not sure about length off the tee just yet as I'm still struggling a bit. It also seems to hold up fairly decently for a soft cover ball. As far as value, I don't know of any ball for $30 that is nearly as good.

    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
    • I have access to far more data (including surveys and polls) than you do with your anecdotes. I mean this as plainly and literally as possible: you’ve demonstrated that you do not. They would, one way or the other.
    • Yes, but you don't live in the UK, so you have no idea what we think about it here. It's a very different mindset here, to demonstrate the fact you should consider 9 out of 10 games we play here are Stableford, whereas you you almost solely play medal. Neither is right or wrong, it's just different  I'm trying to avoid swearing here. Once again, and for the 1000th time, I understand the system, I just don't agree with it. Is there anything wrong with that? PS, I do not have the time or patience to post my results, especially as they prove nothing  That's because 99% of the posters are Yanks
