I wonder why there aren't any famous brother duos in the PGA when there are in other sports. People might say "well, there are more spots in other sports," which would be true. But look at the Mannings. NFL starting QB is a more elite, less likely group to be in and many pro golfers had the same instructors, genes, and opportunities as their siblings to get great at golf.

Pat Perez has a brother (Mike?) that was on Big Break but I haven't heard much about him in golf circles since his appearance.

The Molinari brothers? I mean, I guess both don't play on the PGA Tour full time but they're obviously talented enough to do so. Michael and Andrew Putnam as well.

Not recently, but didn't Sam Snead have a brother (Homer?) who won on the PGA Tour? Phil Mickelson's brother was a professional golfer for a while, might have even played in a few Web.com tour events, but I think he's regained his amateur status and is a coach now. ASU maybe?

I guess one difference is that golf is 100% results based whereas there are at least some politics involved in team sports where athletes have to be chosen to be on teams, get drafted, etc. and family name carries some weight. In golf, the scoreboard doesn't care if you are a homeless dude picking up golf clubs for the first time or some privileged Davis Love III type haughty pompous family descendant.

Thanks for those info. I also wonder family golfers are not that much famous like Williams on tennis.

But still not much popular to people as their talents are a bit under level, aren't they?

Can see one of Hendersons is rising after last weekend.

His brother used to Caddie for him on tour for a few years. Never good to work with family or friends!

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
