I played yesterday and shot a 93. It was definitely a "what could have been round." I fired a crowd pleasing 53 on the front nine with only 2 pars (both scrambling) and nothing going right. I started the back nine with hopes of not getting upset with myself and to just try to survive. I started out with a much better tee shot and approach, and 2 putted for par. I put my drive OB on 11, so basically I made par with my second ball lol giving me a double bogey. I then parred the next 5 holes before coming up short on a par 3 17th hole and catching my chip thin. I then continued to par 18 to shoot a 39 on the back. Was definitely pleased with how I finished up

Video of my swing on the practice range while I hit 300 balls no further than about 120 yards (most about 60 yards) with a 7-iron.

Erik J. Barzeski —  I knock a ball. It goes in a gopher hole. 🏌🏼‍♂️

I shot 90, It was the best round I have played with the worst putting I could imagine. 90 with 41 puts ouch. What sucks is I could have broken 90 for the first time if I would have putted like I usually do. LOL

Shot a 93 today (+14 on front after par's on 1 & 2, +7 on back). First time I played the course, joined last week but only had time this week for the range.

Shot 94 on a local course. It was okay, but there was a 25+km/h wind. Kept hitting the balls into the rough and trees. Did better towards the end.

Shot a 99 with a terrible start. But the bright spot was I finally hit new driver with a little consistency and very long. I am really looking forward to tomorrow's tee time.

98 for 18. First full round under 100!! Plus, it my first time on a new course, which is much more challenging than my usual 9-hole course. I've broken 50 on the previous three 9-hole rounds, so I seem to be firmly under 100 now. W00t! Played with Shindig from here, had a great time.

In the bag:
FT-iQ 10° driver, FT 21° neutral 3H

Congrats on the 98.....

Played Friday. Shot 87. Very pleased with how I drove the ball. Should have been more in the 84/85 range but missed some makeable par putts and 3-jacked the 18th for a bogey....

Great round though. My driver feels good again now that I'm paying attention to grip pressure...

    • Day 149 - More slow rehearsals trying to get into a better impact position.
    • Hi everyone, I'm looking to improve my driving distance. I’ve been playing golf for a few years now, and while my accuracy has gotten better, I’m still struggling to get the distance I want off the tee. I play regularly with both men and women, so any advice that applies to both would be fantastic. For some context, I’ve tried adjusting my stance and swing, but I feel like I might be missing some key golf techniques or drills. Has anyone here successfully increased their driving distance? What specific tips or changes worked for you? Whether it's about grip, posture, swing mechanics, or even mental approach, I’m open to all suggestions! Looking forward to hearing your experiences and advice! Thanks!
    • Day 159: 6/3/24 Stack Training Full Speed Spectrum session 20/24. Diagnosed with tennis elbow today. Finished 1 mph higher than last session.
    • I don't know… The TaylorMade Tiger Woods grinds were decent. I like narrow soles with a lot of bounce (lots of camber) and good heel/toe relief.
    • Day 33 (3 Jun 24) - In between working on my bass guitar and its wiring issues, I was able to take the putter and roll some putts on the carpet in the shop.  Spent time with the lead arm as I usually putt with it tucked close  and then doing the lead arm chicken wing.  Interesting how the feel and pace is different.  Had seen a fellow golfer using it last week when we were playing.  Overall it was good to do an easy day of putting for pace and overall distance control from 10' in.
