After horrendous rounds for the last three weeks, finally got a decent round in today. Shot 80. I think I finally got out of the slump...

Played from ladies' back tee yesterday for a change (5332 meters) and scored 5 under par. Made six birdies (holes 1,2,3,4,10,13) and one bogey. Only 23 putts.

90 yesterday in heavy wind. 46/44. Tough sledding. Only 34 putts, which is damn good for me. Practice may be paying off.

76 with 3 water balls. They just top dressed our greens Monday and the putting was difficult.

Played the local 9 hole short course (par 31) that I played while I was learning. Went +2 with one bird & 3 bogeys. All 3 bogeys were just mental mistakes so I'm not worried about them. My swing feels pretty solid right now.

Oooh... rough group.

Even par through 9 is my best.  I don't even want to think about what was my worst.

76 (+7) in the October Medal , for a net 59. Probably the winning score. After hurting my shoulder on the 15th, scrabbled home with double, bogey, bogey.

As a result of spending a lot of time sitting in a cart while stuck behind a fivesome during a member-guest day at Crystal Falls Golf Club, my upper body became stiff, I couldn't consistently make the swing I have been working on, and I struggled to a 97. Not the kind of result you want after starting the round 4-4-4.

Shot one under 71 yesterday, but walked away a little disappointed. Four under on the front side, but 3 over on the back. Funny how you can shoot one of your better rounds but still feel a little empty when it's all said and done. :(

I did pretty awful the other day golfing. I didn't even break 100, and I normally do. I can normaly hit in the 90's. But, I have only been playing golf for about 2 months +/- now, so give me a break.

98 today, tied my best round. Blew up a quad and triple too, could have been a much better round but thinking back on it now even with that quad and triple bogey, 2 water drops and 1 OB drop I still feel I had a great round!

Shot over 95 today in a tough course, but have to blame on my inconsistent driving and lowly short game. But it's golf, a tough sport.

    • I don't think the coupon code SPINAXIS will save you 5% on the discounted version 3s, but it's worth a shot. I'll also note that we do not get an affiliate revenue from this - we specifically had them turn that off for us. So I'm not recommending it because I'll make even a dollar if you do buy. 017: Wrist Angles and Feedback with HackMotion | The Spin Axis Podcast - Golf Coaches Discuss Instruction Modern Techniques and Technology That said… I recommend the HackMotion with the mid-level package if you are at all interested in working on this part of the golf swing. (The mid-level package also gives you putting — Core, Plus, and Pro are the levels). I have a bunch of 3.0 sensors that will be deactivated here soon, and my 3.0s will be "deactivated" when my 4.0s arrive. So, I wonder if I can sell one of the 3.0 to you inexpensively and if you can just activate some level of software at a discount (since they won't have to send you any hardware, pay for shipping, etc.). I used a HackMotion today in a lesson, in fact, and on myself only recently.
