That was beautiful. Sad that they'll never learn...

I'm not convinced that either of these commentators have ever played golf before. They sound like they should be working the mic at Scores...I can hear both of them exclaiming "Give it up for Candy on the center stage"...

I was thinking the same thing.  At least 3 times I've seen a putt roll a foot past the hole, just missing right or left, and the announcer is screaming "Leaves that one JUST short!"

Spieth better not win this thing.  seriously.

As someone with free bets on both Day and Rors, I really hope not either!

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

What's in the bag: Callaway X2 Hot Driver, Titleist 915F 3 wood, X2 Hot 3 Hybrid, 3, 5-AW Apex Pro irons, 54*, 58* Cleveland RTX, Odyssey Versa 1 Putter

Would anyone really be surprised? I have money on Day and Rickie, but you know Jordan has been prepping for this tourney all year and it looks like he's ready. And he's not that bad a wins player coming from Texas so that will only help him the next couple days.

Not sure who the commentator on the Masters live feed is, but clearly he needs to read LSW... In his words, before both of their third shots "I think I'd rather be where Rickie is than where Zach is for two.". Cue a Zach birdie and a Rickie bogey.

Adam Scott 55
Dustin Johnson 75
Henrik Stenson 90
JB Holmes 800
Marc Leishman 350
Hideki Matsuyama 160
Patrick Reed 165

Right arm above left indicating a fade?! Hard to imagine anyone even beginning to put that into action... You're right, there's too many!

Bets look good - Reed hasn't started brilliantly, sadly :(

Close, but no. Just means you are delofting the club; it says nothing about AoA...

Adam Scott at 55? Wow. Where did you get that?

It says that hitting down is more likely, but not that it's guaranteed.

Wow I need to visit that sportsbook. I bet Fowler but he was at 16-1 for me. Didn't play Scott but he was at 10-1. Bet Day but he was 7-1. It's very early yet but starting to regret not playing Spieth. Runner-up two years ago...big win last year....just a wild hunch, but he may know something about how to play this course.

I'm pretty sure those are the $5 odds. So 13:1.

Ahhhh...I gotcha. I misread it. I thought you got Scott at 55-1 odds. I was like "Woah" lol

+1

But no one is going to be surprised if he's in the mix on Sunday.

I'm rooting for Phil, Rory, and Day in that order.

    • Day 135 (27 Apr 24) - played Bradford Creek today while waiting for the missus fly in from her extended visit with the grands.  Good day to stay focused as it was a hurry up (groups pressing from behind) and wait (groups taking their time ahead)…a good day to stay mentally in the game - play the shot and not get frustrated in the waiting…
    • Day 122: 4/27/24 Supposed to be a Stack training day but I was beat after yard work today. Practiced chipping and putting at The Creek. The practice green is pretty slow but the session went well.
    • Went to the range today and was cursing myself when I got there as I realized I forgot my phone. I added an earlier wrist hinge to the short backswing I was using last time practicing and ball strikes were really good for the most part. I'm heading back to Boston Thursday to see friends and family and have a couple of rounds planned so I'm hoping to keep this feeling.  Yesterday morning I weighed in at 232. My goal had been 230 but maybe now it's 220. I'll have to think about that. I feel so much better without the extra 90 lbs. from 2 years ago. Still a softl slightly less protruding belly so it might be time to go hard on eating better. Work in progress.
    • Day 7- Went to the range and hit a bucket. Also did some chipping and putting.
    • Day 543, April 27, 2024 Practiced for about an hour today. Almost all slow, with plenty of rehearsals.
