Spieth still in contention going into Sunday even though his game is far from sharp. He has to get this "push/fade" thing he's got going off the tee figured out!

Man, the telecast for this is so different from the Irish Open. Irish Open was showing as much golf as possible. CBS seems to be showing as little golf as possible.

I'm seriously worried about Spieth. His pre-swing jitters are getting worse. The last few holes, he would look up 6 or 7 times while adjusting his feet. That is almost yip-like.

Jordan still look jittery to me. I don't recall him being that way last year. And when he is the most jittery, the bad shots appear.

Sorry, completely messed up on me, locked me out of replying then, now it's ok.  Weird.

Yes, Jordan is looking a little rough but he has his short game back, notwithstanding the bogey on 18.  Hopefully he worked through it and will come out strong today.  May rain here, looking pretty dark now.

What I was going to comment on earlier was his distance off the tee.  He was hitting last into a lot of greens yesterday, keeping right up with Koepka.  Not sure if Brooks was off a little or Jordan was just mashing it.

Jordan had a great approach shot on #10 but missed the putt.  Five back.  Sundays have not been kind to him lately.

Kostis is so dumb. Him saying Spieth had too much lateral movement, and not enough rotary, sent me into a fit. I wish he wasn't a commentator.

I wish they would just shut up about anything relating to the golf swing. Just let me watch the damn game, and give me trivia, because otherwise it just ruins my experience.

Sergio with a great tee shot on that par-3.  Jordan's day continues as it has on his par putt. 

And Sergio misses the putt on that par-3 (#17).  

 

Is anyone else watching?  There's a lot of good golf being played, although not by Jordan. :-(

      To flog this subject even further, if that's even possible, this article from Golf Monthly just appeared today in one of my news feeds. Written by a golf writer in the UK who I never heard of, he's basically saying that there should be only 3-5 rounds from the most recent 20 that should count towards the average and only competitive rounds should count. He claims the erratic scorers would have less of an advantage than they do now. He makes a lot of references to "club golfers" in the UK being the ones who are mostly dissatisfied. https://share.google/qmZZBEoJvOxHxJGil  In my experience with my league where we have golfers with indexes ranging from 5 to 40, looking at the weekly results from the past two years, I can detect no pattern that would substantiate the claim that the current system gives an unfair advantage to either erratic golfers (aren't we all?) or higher handicappers. Apparently though, at least in the UK, this seems to be "a thing."
