I kind of already thought you might be a brother from another mother but this seals it.  I've been in love with her for years now.

Birthday gift from the wife a year or two ago was to see her in concert with the LA Phil at the Hollywood Bowl.

Big fan of Diana Krall since the early '00s. Had a SO that loved her music. Liked it, saw her in concert in a smaller venue. Have her early CD's and live in Paris DVD. After 10 years, she started to sound the same as songs were similar, so I float in and out. Enjoy.

She's married to Elvis Costello. How cool is that? Saw her play at Carnegie Hall, her first appearance there, I think it was a couple of years after Love Scenes was released (1999?, I have the stub somewhere - it was well before she started playing with an orchestra) just her, a bassist (amazing, I think it was Christian McBride) and a guitarist, love her minimalist style, still remember the audience chuckling at the playful Lost Mind guitar solo, he played with the tempo in a funny way not like in the studio recording. Cassandra Wilson you might like if you like DK. Maybe Regina King.

She is awesome!  First time I heard her was on Dave Grusin album Two For The Road back in late 1990s she sang two songs on it. Her Nat King Cole Tribute album is phenomenal. I've been a fan for a long long time. My wife (before we were married) asked me one of those questions women always like to ask men. She asked me if there was anyone in the world I would leave her for and jokingly I said Diana Krall because she's tall and blonde, can play the piano as good as any jazz man and can sing. Needless to say wife hates her.:-P

I've seen her play three times. First time was in Chicago. Her and Tony Bennett played sets and then did three songs together at end as a duet. Think that was in 2000. Then again in Chicago on her own and a few years ago out here in Tampa. My wife actually bought tickets for a Father's Day or anniversary present and came with me. I have all of her albums except most recent one, including her first recording with another guy, song is called Detroit Blues, a good duet. 

@Mr. Desmond check out her album Glad Rag Doll if you want to hear her do something different. Hard to believe she is a fifty year old mother of two in the pictures that accompany it (actually 49):

For future reference, I believe the 5th Amendment covers those questions. But it worked out ok for you to actually answer it, so you got it right apparently. Well done. (not a bad answer either :beer:)

Lol. Yeah, I plead the Fifth a lot. Listening to some of her stuff right now. I'll post some YouTube vids of some of my favorites by her later.

I have been listeing to her since her 1st cd.
I have seen her a few times at the Freihofer's Jazz Fest and other shows. She is beyond talented.
I even bought her Christmas CD, and I dont celebrate Christmas!

I have majority of her CDs (among audiophiles which I am one, her recordings are a must).   I love her voice, and instrument solos in her music.  Her Besa me mucho SACD recording is really good.   Others I like - Hit the road, Jack.

      Our home course would be very interesting.  It is short from the black tees (around 6000 yards) and very few holes are considered not reachable in GIR for golfers who drive max 250 off the tee.  But there are two difficulties.  Only 3 holes don't have an OB though admittedly in some cases it is just behind the green.  The harder part is almost all the fairways slope away on both sides from the centre meaning if you hit a draw or fade, you are likely to wind up at the edge of the fairway or off into the rough if you bounce in the wrong place.

      I assume the 3 iron in your iron set would do the job.  If you don't have the club, you should be able to buy it as a single club

      Day 45 (16 Jun 24) -  Happy Father's Day all - got in a few swings with the clubs, focused on alignment for chipping and pitching.  For me if the target it 12noon, I need to have my feet somewhere around 11 for a solid dead on line pitch/chip.  Worked from about 5yds out to 25yds.  Worked through a series of clubs - 54, PW, 8i and 6i - noting flight patterns of each.
