I find it a little odd that if in fact, COSTCO had this awhile back and that it didn't go over so well, why now? If it is the same ball. Being ultra cautious about losing a ball is bad Karma.

Saw that Rick Shiels recently tested the ball out against the Chrome soft. Looks to be a solid contender. Only real drawback mentioned was that it scuffs up more easily but for the price it's hard to complain.

If you do a search on the Costco website, the Kirkland golf balls don't come up at all anymore.  Only the Callaway ball.   I wonder if there is an issue with it.

I think the only issue is that they can't keep enough of them in stock to meet the sudden jump in demand.

Can you order online without a membership? Perhaps they are saving them for their membership customer base.

I'm a member, so that's not it.  Just seemed odd that they would take it totally off the website and not show as out-of-stock, which is what they did earlier.

That's too bad... As a Canadian without access, I'm making a trip to Palm Springs in the middle of February and I was hoping they would be re-stocked so I can ship it to my California address.  I'll keep checking daily just in-case.
