Repeat of yesterday. Having the shadow to watch is helpful. Feeling like I and standing up on my left leg.

1/11: More pitching practice. I was going to putt, since that's what I know I need to work on, but I'm having fun with my new sand wedge. About 20 minutes hitting to various buckets around the yard.

5 min. Arms crossed over chest, turn back, bump and rotate thru.

Same drill with arms extended and pushing down through interlocked hands to top of back swing, bump left hip forward and rotate thru.

Tried to feel coil and then uncoil with lower body and push with legs.

Excercise was good for slowing swing and feeling components. That said, power from legs in swing was elusive.

30 min of mirror work after my workout focusing on slow motions swings with and without club to get the feels and results my evolvr instructor wants me to have. Focusing on steady head especially to start the downswing.

Swings out back again tonight working on left hip back first. It "feels" like my hips are pretty open at contact. Need to get video this weekend to confirm. This is all swinging without a ball to, so I think I'll record what I'm doing now first, and then introduce a ball to see if there is a difference.

1/12: So, I lied. Apparently it's just pitching and full-swing practice all week. I need to practice putting as well, just haven't found the motivation. About 45 minutes pitching and full-swing today. 20 minutes with plastic balls, pitching to various distances. Confidence level is going up so I broke out the real balls for about 10 minutes and practiced pitching to my make-shift green. Sprinkled a few 5-minute slow-mo sessions for my full-swing throughout, then spent a few minutes at the end hitting full shots to the "green". Making really good contact lately, hoping I'm able to keep it up through the weekend. ;-)

Very sore from soccer this morning

10 min. Swing practice with no club. Simply crossed arms over my chest and turned back, a hip bump forward and then swing thru trying to use legs

found that I was forgetting to breathe so began inhaling on the backswing and releasing on forward swing

still not much luck figuring out lower body uncoil and push off for power

repeated excercise with arms outstretched and hands interlocked a la Henrik Stenson "pushing, pushing, pushing"

Got a chance for a longer session today with the ice storm hitting the area. About an hour of mirror work and hitting balls into net focusing on 3/4 swing feel with keeps my head from moving forward as I start the downswing.
