Tiger's Scotty Cameron Putter - Does he ever switch from it again?

Tiger and his Scotty Putter

  1. 1. Now that Tiger is back on another equipment deal (with TaylorMade), will he ever use a putter other than his trusted Cameron Newport model in a competitive round?

I voted yes for the same sentiment others have stated, that eventually he'll get desperate and try one of those ugly red spider putters or something.

I don't see him changing again. It's the putter that he loves and feels comfortable with.

I voted no, for all the reasons others have listed. He could play any putter he wants, so if he put that one back in the bag, he believes in it. I will add the caveat that if his putting were to get really bad, he would try anything.

He did it once...

I see two potential possibilities.  One is TaylorMade pushes him to put one of their putters in the bag.  The other is at some point if he's not putting well, he switches for a fresh look.  It's just not very realistic for someone to play with the same putter forever...even Crenshaw switched from Little Ben, so don't rule it out.

TM got the driver. I'm not sure they will push for the putter.

I just remember how big of a deal it was for Nike when they finally got their putter in his bag.  That's the weakest part of TM's club line, so getting him into a new putter would be a game-changer for them.
