There are some obvious places you find a hitting area and some not so obvious ones. Post them here!

This looks like a restaurant:

When you get bitten by the bug and want to practice, you find a way. How do you not admire the passion?

Not so much a net, probably rubber balls.

I have a mat in my office. We rent and the carpet is ghetto x100, old commercial carpet that was ready to be replaced when we moved in 14 years ago. It looks like hell but it's carpet over concrete with many defects and it's better than just about any artificial green I've used. So between that and the mat, I hit floppy balls against the partition, I have a pretty good practice space. I use the office to get my steps in too, I've paced 5 miles in here when it's too snowy to be outside.

Dave :-)

This is a few years old so may have been discussed back then but given the thread topic, seems fitting to mention it:

I do this too. Once in a condo, the room was huge, like 25 foot ceilings and wasn't using a net, so ball hunting a lot, the security guy saw me on camera, thought I was using a real ball, showed him it was a foam job, let me play on, then the workout folks started filing in, game over. Need to buy one of those.

nothing new here, just a few extra touches after piecing remnants from storm damage to 10x10x10 cage.

I should also note, that I removed a section of the cross piece in front as if you hit it, it will shatter! (it still could, but it has a little bit of play in it to minimize that happening).golf_net_3_001.thumb.JPG.50d15eeb24f23c03db0292fa6645c452.JPG

I thought this was a basement, but is an indoor range.

Screen Shot 2017-03-21 at 1.57.22 PM.png

    • Day 65: Played 18. Decent round with the exception of two doubles.
    • Went back to feeling the hands slowing down and stopping at A3. Feel a significant pause at A3. Hands down towards the ground. I get the mental image of Morikawa with how he pauses at the top of the swing, but then really rips at it.  For me, I have to  grip the club about 5° open. Or at least what looks like. With the driver, it’s another story. A bit of a regression here. Lots of John Daly– esque over swing. Lots of  shallowing with the body. If I try to send the club behind me with the hands going down to the ground. I have a bad habit of timing that with an over swing. So, I had to go back to feeling a significant positive again to control the back swing length. Then I went back to try to bring the back of the right hand down to my right hip. It feels stupidly, awkward. Like no flow to the swing. But from A6 through impact  feels more effortless. Now I’m hitting some decent push cuts this way. In the swing feels like it has no speed. But, it’s probably better overall. something I noticed that is way different from my irons to my driver is that with my irons I can keep my eyes looking at the ball much better through the downswing. With the driver, I find it pretty much impossible to do. Will post some videos later.
    • The text, in case Elon ever kills Twitter (more than he already has): Quick 18-hole game you can play on a launch monitor: Write 90, 95, 100, 105… 175 on 18 balls. Put them in a bag, pick one out, try to carry the ball the listed distance. Scoring: - ≤ 1 yd, Eagle - 1.1 - 3 yds, Birdie - 3.1 - 6 yds, Par - 6.1 - 9 yds, Bogey - > 9 yards, Double Of course, you don't have to do it with 18 balls; you can use slips of paper, etc. You could also set a start and end point and randomly generate 18 numbers, and play to those yardages. But… let's see some scores? Let's see what people get. The nice thing is… you only need a Mevo level device.
    • He's entertaining. I still don't "like" him, and he has said a lot of stupid shit over the years, recently about the LIV stuff and the OWGR, etc. TikTok is infinitely more evil than Bryson.
    • I have a full day of house hotel (not true, I went to Golf Evolution before 7am and just got home: four hours of work and 40 minutes of practice) and I'm primed to watch the U.S. Open.
