I find offset to be the least desirable design aspect of irons.  Any recommendations for cavity-back irons with the least amount of offset?  Thanks!

I have Titleist Ap2 irons, and they have very little offset.  Lots of the cavity-back "players clubs" have very minimal offset.

I would look at the Titleist CBs, or Mizuno JPX900tour for more recent irons. Offset, while not the most appealing to look at, offers more forgiveness.

I have Maltby TE irons.  The offset is minimal (.100) and constant throughout the set.  They are similar to my MacGregor PCB Tour irons; but a bit more turf-friendly.

All irons have offset, it's just how much. You might want to check out AP2 or Mizuno's JPX-900 line, they seem to have the least of all the cavity back models.

For cavity back / GI irons with minimal offset, look no further than Tour Edge Exotics - it's something they're noted for. Current ones are: http://www.touredge.com/products/exiirons.asp

Tour Edge irons often sell for a lot less money than the big names, despite being every bit as good. I'm currently playing with Exotics XCG3s from around 2010. Nice clubs, very little offset.

Taylormade makes a game improvement irons with little offset. You will find Ping does as well from time to time. Mizuno's JPX line has a small amount of offset as well.

To OP,

If you can find them, I'd recommend you look at the Wilson FG Tour V6 irons. Forged perfection. Look fantastic, feel fantastic, almost no offset. Lofts are "old school" so prepare to potentially lose a few yards depending on what you are currently using. I was using Mizuno JPX EZ forged 2013 and they were fine. The offset started to bother me. Decided to get new (for me) irons this year and happened to read about the Wilsons. Could not find a bad review anywhere. Finally found a place to see them and hit them and fell in love. My iron game has improved considerably and I find these irons to be extremely forgiving. Looks and feel are as good as anything out there. Very easy to shape the ball, change trajectory, and actually create shots. I've had more fun over the past four months playing golf than I've had in a long time. Golf is fun again. Try the Wilson FG tour V6 irons before you pull the trigger on something else.

Good luck in your search!

@Mizzyluvr Hey! I found this post and I'm very curious about your experience with the Wilson FG V6 tour irons. I'm also looking for cavity back irons with minimal offset, as close to zero as possible, and I was wondering about buying the Wilson's. However, I see that the shorter the iron (8, 9, pw) the more offset they have? (this seems super weird since it is usually the opposite). I can't find official stats anywhere, only by looking at pictures..

Please let me know of your experience and if they are true minimal offset irons. Thank you very much @Mizzyluvr!!
