Augusta National is one of the coolest places I have ever been, I hope to get back there again one day. Every golfer should get to experience it at least one time. Television doesn't do it justice, especially the elevation changes. I will forever be jealous of anyone who gets to attend.

I'm going to do the lottery for the first time ever this year. Odds are low, but why not?

Why didn't you in every previous year?

If you don't mind my asking, how did you get them?  Lottery?  Ticket agent?  I ask because I would seriously think about going in the next couple of years.  For me I'd guess ticket agent, since I like certainty.  I don't really care about tournament day tickets, practice would be fine.  I care more about seeing the place.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

This makes absolutely no sense to me, btw. :-)

Lottery, I’ve been doing that for years, got selected for the first time last year, we got rained out, and then I got selected again this year in the lottery, but I’m thinking that I got selected as we were rained out.

Well (possibly belated?) congratulations.  That is awesome!

Unfortunately I will have to go the more expensive route.  Fortunately I am only interested in the Monday and Tuesday practice rounds which will hold it down as compared to tunnament rounds.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

We can only hope, not sure it could get much worse than last year.  :-)

So if you win the lottery, get rained out, you're SOOL? No rain ticket?
