Isn't that just the truth? I will just never understand that mentality.

Back to the golf and this is one of the best day two leaderboards I can remember in a long, long time. Awesome day's watching so far.

Yep, I've been following McIlroy's shot tracker all afternoon and there have been about three or four waits of ten minutes on the tee (14 and 15 in particular)... Not sure who's caused it, to be honest.

read a few posts, get the lay of the land before posting too much, then join and contribute - a few guys come across harsh, but you get to know them better, they are pretty decent, just about all of them, frankly, you started off here with a chip or agenda or so, put it aside

Has the cut here always been top 50 + within 10?  I thought it used to be top 44 + within 10.  Not sure why I think that.

The top 50 scores including ties, or any player within 10 strokes of the lead, will qualify for the weekend. The rule was changed to its current form beginning in 2013, before that it was top 44 and those within 10 strokes of the leader. 

(I did a search on that 'internet' thing) - so it can be more than 50 for either ties, or the 10 stroke thing....or both

After hearing that comment about Zach Johnson and how well he plays the par-5s, I cannot help but think of the title a chapter of Erik's book didn't end up getting.
