Should be interesting to see Toronto up close however. 151 goals in 37 games is silly.

The Leafs have 140 in 37. The Lightning have 154 in 37.

I'm still not seeing any detail on it besides the fact he won't on the road trip.

It is a bit spooky. Niemi against Tampa on Saturday sounds like something to avoid watching.

Some mystery incident involving Bobrovsky has him missing the game tonight. Lots of speculation and little in the way of facts.

The news spread quickly, just as the Blue Jackets were about to get on the ice for their morning skate Thursday at Nationwide Arena.Sergei Bobrovsky,

My team is so, so horrible right now.  Just a complete lack of awareness and effort.

I was kind of excited when Peter Chiarelli was brought in.  He never was an Oiler, so he had that going for him.

Now, I see why Boston fans laughed at Edmonton when he was signed.  What a moron.

It's really hard being a lifelong diehard fan of one of the worst run professional sports teams in existence.

Started to get into hockey couple years ago and loving it.  Even got the wife watching.  Becoming huge Blues fans.  This year didn’t look good at turn of the year, but on a roll right

Sometimes watching professional athletes practice is more fun than the actual competition.

For a meaningless game, I'm glad I got out of the office to watch the Habs-Leafs last night.

Aside from the Poehling hattrick and shoot-out winner for Montreal, it was also Bob Cole's last broadcast on Hockey Night In Canada.

To me, Bob Cole sounded like the authentic voice of the sport. Any game he called seemed more official and more important just because it was his voice doing the call.

Really liking how the Blue Jackets are playing right now.

Going to the game Tuesday night and will be in a suite thanks to the company that my buddy works for.

It will be my first playoff hockey game.

Actually got the chance to see Game One. CBJ falls behind 3-0 and its here they go again. Then the game totally turns around.

I'm getting paroled tonight, so looking forward to see the rest of the playoffs.

The Columbus-TB series really has taken me by surprise (and many other folks as well I'm sure). CBJ has really ramped it up and the Bolts look almost resigned to getting swept.

Playoff hockey is just the best.

Was that game any good?

Bolts didn't want to pack it in and really made a game of it. I liked it, sitting on the couch.

Not a bad choice for your first.

It was a blast. Great back and forth game, we were getting pretty nervous in the 3rd though, wasn't sure if they'd be able to hold off basically an all out attack by Tampa for a full period but somehow they did.

That's the type of view I like to have when I go to a game. You can see pretty much everything from there. Down low, you lose too much of the near boards on the ends.

It still blows not having my club in it, but the locals are giving me something to watch.

Watched part of game 6 of the Bruins/Leafs series and I remembered why I don't watch playoff hockey unless my team is in it. The officiating is atrocious (second season "rules" are dumb).

Well this whole thing is going in the least attractive way possible.  I'd really prefer not to see the Bruins win The Cup, but that freaking Rask guy is just too damn much.

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
