23 year old Cameron Champ will be playing on the PGA Tour next year. He's currently averaging 343.4 yards on the Web.com Tour. Next behind him is Brandon Matthews with 333.7. Champ's average is based on 113 drives and he's hit 67% of the fairways. Rory is averaging 320 this year. They are of course playing on different tours and courses, but it will be interesting to see how he does on the PGA Tour. He's swinging over 130 mph with ball speeds over 190.

Nice...but this thread is about Tiger...🤭

I like Jrose a lot...but man it would be so cool for Tiger to take the win AND the cup.

Yes, I see that but  I root for British players (Rose especially)  first and foremost, so you'll understand that I'm gunning for Rose to cap off his great season with the fedex cup win.

Even still, as much as I'd really like to see Woods complete his comeback, I'd feel a bit uncertain about him , Rory or Rahm taking the Fedex, as I don't feel any of them have done in the regular season to justify winning. Yes, I know that's sort of the point the playoff format that any of them can win, but as mentioned in the other threads, I think the weightings and re-seeding are a bit  skewed.

Either way, the tour must be thrilled with the finale, and it's going to be a real cracker today.

The Web.com Tour almost always has the longer drivers. They shoot lower scores, often, too to win tournaments.

Guys often find they either have to dial it back on the PGA Tour or they get to play on it for one year before heading back to the Web.com tour.

Web.com tour courses aren't set up quite as difficult as PGA Tour stops. They're the lesser known, more common courses.

So my wife is telling me not to watch today. She says I've been jinxing him, that I should just go do something else and if he wins then the jinx has been broken.

IDK what to do. I'm nervous and jittery already.

Jinxes only work if the person doing the act believes in the jinx.

At my father in laws house today...he is a huge broncos fan. He will be watching the game upstairs. I, however, will be in the basement watching Tiger! I’ll crawl out every once and awhile to eat some of his food😁

No! You HAVE to watch! Hell I'm stuck at work and I’ll find a way to watch!

The problem is I will be disappointed with anything less from him results-wise today....

It pisses me off that I'm missing the chance to watch what could the last hurdle in Tiger's comeback.  I'm here in SW Colorado, yesterday on the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge railroad Photographer's Special, today driving the Million Dollar Highway to Silverton, Ouray and ultimately to Gunnison.  Won't drive home until tomorrow, and since all of yesterday was, and much of today will be, out of cell service, I'm sort of in a communications blackout.

I'll be rooting for him anyway.  Maybe tonight's hotel will actually have Golf Channel so I can at least see highlights.

Cool view, without any of the overexposure or whatever effects they add on tv.
