Missed two very makeable birdies already. His last 3 big putts were dreadful going back to 18 yest. Should be -5.

That kid ‘Killen’ is probably sweating bullets. Lol. But yeah..-5 is where he should be. Seems last time as well Tiger has these dopey errors that would otherwise have him at the top of the board. Annoying as hell.

Tiger practically yipped that 4 footer on 18 yesterday. Not good at all. For most of this season, It seems like he coughs up a short stabby stroke whenever he stands over putts like those.  He's becoming Ben Hogan at the end of career where he cant make a pressure putt outside of 2 feet.

The graphic they showed right before the putt said he has like like an 81 (IIRC) make percentage from that distance. That means hes still going to miss roughly 1 out of every 5 of those putts. Golf is hard.

The one putt probability on the PGA tour from 15 feet is only 23%.. The two "very makeable" birdie putts you are referring to were 15 ft 2 inches and 14 ft 1 inch. That means on average he is going to miss more than 7 out of 10 from that distance. So no, he shouldn't be -5.

Sorry for having high expectations of him. But the putt on 11 didn’t even sniff the hole and the putt on 18 yesterday was horrible. Just saying the putter doesn’t look any different than it did a few weeks ago.

There's a 14 footer for birdie.

Back to back and sitting at -4 now.

Well damn it he should’ve hit it closer to the pin then.😁

Playing 14 now, though. If he pars that hole, might as well mark it a birdie. Don’t think there are many holes in the world he plays worse than that one.

I didn’t see it ....was it a dumb club selection? What happened? Ego get in the way? Tried to muscle a sandwedge?

He pulled the tee shot long and left and it took a pretty big bounce on the back edge of the green and barely trickled into the water on the edge of the walking path off the back of the green.

Then from the drop zone he carried it too far and it one hopped on the back edge and went right into the water again.

Put his second shot from the drop zone to about 20 feet and then 2 putted for a 7.

Was the option of dropping near the point where the ball entered the hazard on the first shot not available? Or is it a local rule that you have to drop it in the drop zone?

Um, not a local rule, it's the rule: 26-1a and b. You have to go back to the point he ball last crossed the margin of the hazard, so your only options are to either replay the shot or got to the designated drop zone.
