So how does it work? Do you send them multiple videos and they look at all of them and tell you what they see? Or do you just send them one at a time?

I send in 2 videos, one down the line and one front view. You then get the video back in one video with both views side by side. The instructor then speaks over the video and adds fancy lines and brilliant commentary. :-D I just started it, so we'll see. But I have faith!

They recommend that you send a pair ... One face on video and one down the line. From those, they identify your biggest priority and send you back a short video explaining what they see, what they want you to work on, and any drills that will help get you there. Once you've gotten to a point with the piece where you think that you are ready for the next step, or are kinda stuck, send in another pair. Rinse and repeat. At most, I was sending in a pair of videos about every other week, now I'm down to about one a month. I know what I'm working on and it's slow going so I don't really need to bother sending in a new video every week so they can tell me the same thing.

Do you ever send in a video just to make sure you're doing a drill correctly?

I did exactly that a week or two ago when it seemed winter was endless. I sent video of me doing slow-mo drills of the keys the instructor, Stephan, identified. He didn't seem to mind, and it was useful to me! I was doing some stuff wrong in slow -mo :)

Thanks. That's good to know. One of my hesitations of starting up was wondering if I'd start doing a drill incorrectly and ingraining a bad habit without any feedback.

In fact, he has specifically asked for it a few times. Just make sure to tell them that in your notes. :)

Yah I had same hesitation. It's been great so far though (week 6 here and 4 videos submitted). I'll likely slow down submissions over time too. As for the drill I was doing wrong, I was cupping my left wrist as I dropped my club on a flatter plane on the downswing. It was helpful he caught that so I didn't ingrain that, but he said it's just as likely I wouldn't do that at full speed. But no sense doing it incorrectly in slow-mo. Great catch.

Good to hear. I'm pretty excited about this. My biggest issue is that I keep flip flopping between trying to find a good instructor and I think my brain is totally confused because of all the swing changes I've made. I'd put Tiger to shame! :-D

Brian picked up stuff on my first lesson that I never would have thought of. I also like that the lesson was simple and to the point. I know it's going to take time, but I'm looking forward to making some meaningful changes!

I have a question to those who are either instructors or students: What should I do if I have a question about the lesson? Can I PM the instructor from this website or email them? I don't have a question with the last lesson, but was just wondering for future reference.

Yes you can PM or email them but I would recommend asking questions in your notes first.

Yes that's the beauty of having four uploads a month. Submitting a video every week would be overkill but it's good to know that if you do have some questions or want to check if you're doing the drill right.

Thanks! Yes, that's a nice feature with the monthly plan.

Nice mention from Bradley Dredge (European tour player) about his online lessons (Evolvr) from @james_hirshfield

Yes, he's one of the few European Tour (and other Tour) players we teach on evolvr.

That's very cool, the visual of a pro logging in, inputting CC and uploading videos on the same service also available to a schmuck like me.

Bringing back an old thread to make a suggestion. I don't know if this has been suggested before or not but it would be nice if when an analysis gets uploaded to the site, we get an email letting us know its ready. Kind of like on forums when you get an email when you get a pm or something.
