First off I want to thank all the current Forum Leaders for all of their contributions to the site. You guys are important to making The Sand Trap a great place. And I want to welcome our 8 new Forum Leaders:minibluedragon, michaeljames92, mcfc_nick, deasy55, deryck+griffith,walk18, senorchipotle and normdamarine. Special note, normdamarine is currently serving in Afghanistan, so we hope he makes it home safe and gets back to golf soon.
There are some extra features that come along with the title, other than the Forum Leader badge: ability to superflag a posts as spam, public message shows on profile, no limit on pm's, ability to edit a post up to 27 minutes after you post, classified lists are highlighted and recognition for your efforts.
Consider it a stamp of approval that your opinion matters. You've all been active members of the forum who have participated and used many of the features, or will. Just a reminder to some of those features we would like see utilized: handing out reputation, doing reviews, following other members and joining or starting groups.
